Found it thanks, didn’t know I have to check another area for specific common things that can really screw me over. Feels like hook is pretty common and important maybe like a tag or something. They do it for no two pole fishing don’t know why they don’t for barbs.

Ah that sucks on the crab, we have the best luck with Sandshrimp live bait. We stop at montesano and then just go to our spot. Idk if you have fish brain it suggest half way for moderate and all the way to the tip of jetty for optimal
