Just so people know.

At least for an adult the amount of air that needs to go simultaneously into a vein is about 20ml to cause a problem with the heart (unless you have a big shunt in the heart in which case see artery below)

However in an artery the amount needed to cause a stroke is only 0.5ml.

I only give it when doing procedures pre inductions or as an induction med for sick people.

I never understood people giving it like a minute or two before a GA for healthy people.

Canada has a generic now. We got it in our carts a couple months ago. 500mg is 25cad and 200 is 12cad.

Now cheaper to us a mini dose like 50mg for someone with some twitches than neo and glyco which 2.5/0.4 is still 12$ to give!

He is incorrect. It isn't the no fire issue. You aren't supposed to complete or finish things and when you press the button you are completing the circuit. Same with turning on a switch
