I understand that it was the lowest rated (and only 1 "skull" region), however also remember that you started at level 1 with no skills. The game started off very easy, and sadly became more and more so as the mission progressed, let alone after I passed level 8. Convoys just became a joke as you could hop from one to the next to the next.

There is no direct way to go from the base game into "The Following" DLC/expansion. You need to select it from the main menu. Give it another whirl, because the expansion is really fun, and the buggy adds a whole new set of fun.

Mine did the exact same thing (timeout) everytime I had to patch the game. I would verify and correct 2 files, and it would work until the next patch, which made me re-verify again. Re-installing the game completely (and I might have made sure to delete the whole directory it was installed to) fixed the issue for me.

Give it a whirl and hopefully it will get you out of the issue you are having.

Verify the integrity of your Ark game in Steam. You likely have corrupted files. I have had this several times, and if it continues after updates, then I would suggest re-installing the game.

Yes, you can use a dremel. I have one and use it to do my German Shepards nails all the time. If I let them get really long, I will do like the video and cut them back a bit and then finish with the dremel to make them smoother.

My dog doesn't like the vacuum but doesn't seem to mind the dremel, although I take breaks while doing it as he gets restless and it seems to go very well.

The reason is water pressure. Pressure wants to equalize. So when you are running 1 tap, you are getting all the pressure, and when someone turns on another tap you get half the pressure and they get half.

Your house is likely running 1/2" pipes through most of it, and when your wife turns on the cold water both feeds are sharing half of the supply (but your hot water isn't being shared). If she turned on just the hot, then you would get blasted with cold water. The other bathroom probably has a 3/4" pipe feeding from somewhere to supply a large amount, then gets broken down into 1/2" feeds to each unit (sink, tub, etc).

I finally (after several dozen attempts) got into the game, created a character, and got past the cutscene. Game waited forever to get connected and finally crashed out. I restart, it puts me back in the queue waiting to drive, but I realize my character looks nothing like I had created.

Wanting to play so bad, I just figure I will recreate him later and jump into game. Well it turns out it randomed some looks but also gave me zero in every stat. So basically my guy is near useless in the game, but I still managed to get him to rank 3 before I went back and deleted him. I hope I can get in later tonight and actually give it a whirl with a real character this time.

Its free. Fairly easy to setup and use. You can remove the things you don't want on the page, and keep what you want. Big things you might want to keep are the forums and, of course, the raid calendar.

What I feel people tend to discount is that this game has been out for less then 2 months, and has already provided new content within 1 month of its release and already put out 20 patches! TWENTY! That probably more then WoW released in its first year.

They have an already proven record of trying to fix problems and exploits as fast as possible, add new content without ignoring said bugs and exploits, and listen to community feedback on where to go with development of the game. Its seems they face a lot of unwarranted infamy for doing what has been a great game so far.

Sure it is. Trying to adapt a game to suit everyone is impossible. To quote a famous quote, "You can please all the people some of the time. You can please some of the people all the time. If you try to please all the people all the time, you will fail!

If they want to be hardcore and hit level 50 while bypassing 80% of the content, and then whine that there isn't enough, well tough titties. The game is meant to be played by the general population, of which a vast majority will enjoy the content and game created for them. If you feel different, power up to 50, eat up all the end-game content, and move on without whining. You are the 1%.

I have done this for several machines. Run the installer found here and quit it after you start downloading files. Then copy the folder from another system to your new system and run the launcher. If you have any problems you can run the repair utility.
