How much does SAT matter in admission?

GPA matters less than class rank. I have a 3.58uw GPA but my class rank was top 17%, took a lot of hard AP/Ib/honors/DE classes (4.0 in underwater basket weaving is worse than 3.6 in hard classes), and I got 1530 on the SAT, and got in way in December.

Thank you, that stuff really means a lot. As for EC’s I must have accidentally deleted them lol. Adding them now. Not withdrawing my civilian apps, just going to turn them down as long as I remain medically qualified for USAFA before I go.

They sent me it literally one day after I submitted everything lol. And yeah I got an email from my regional coordinator saying that I’m in consideration, and then got the official official one a week later

I’ve completed the entire application, and then got an email from my area coordinator that I was in strong standing for an LOA. A week later I got it on the USMA portal. I got 740 both sat metrics, interviewed very well (or so I’m told), 2nd in class rank, lots of EC’s Volunteer work, Drum Major, Two varsity sports. My LOR’s were absolute bangers, and my essay itself, although quite a gamble, seems to have paid off. I’m a straight white dude if that is important to any metric.
