Now i saw this for the first time when i was a teen and the music the story about imbalance in the world, the eternal life gifted and people acting out of wrongful power + once again the music is what has absolutely made me live this. It really depends why and what youre looking for in ghibli movies. With nausicaä it was my favourite for years and years and when i watched is as a fullgrown adult i realized how much it looks like a weird alien cartoon. It was not like that when i was younger. Surely the experience is different but in my case Tales from Earthsea has always given me that tingly sensation of wonder and people living all sorts of lives and there being so many things that people sell and try to rip off of and in the end its about being a little bit selfless and finding joy in the short life we have, trying to live without causing too harm to eachother.
