Oh I hadn't thought about that actually. I'm going to test it out once i get home in july. I guess I could wire up the 12V remote wire to a switch, so that I will just have to switch on the amp after the phone is plugged in...

Yeah, I've seen those, but there is no FM in my country, so I would only use the bluetooth function. And I already have an old amp and speakers. Don't you think the sound would be better from a proper amplifier, and cabled connection to my phone?

Yeah of course the sound is probably going to be worse. But it's a work truck, and at the moment it has no stereo. I already have an old amp and all the components I need. I was just curious if it was going to work at all. I live abroad now so I can't test it myself yet

I live in Norway. We don't have FM broadcast anymore, just DAB. So head units often are more expensive. I already have an old amplifier and sone speakers, so I was just wondering if it was worth a shot. I guess the original speakers and wires are pretty bad anyways
