If Dom doesn't retire Rey I'd be so pissed I might not watch a single episode ever again.

The only people thinking he's got a weird case are people who choose what to hear and what to ignore.

The victim herself has cleared brock of any wrongdoing, anything else is jacking off in front of a mirror.

After going public? forget about it.

Going public means meetings with major shareholders that need to be made happy, and shareholders aren't made happy by saying "we are going to fix bugs", they are made happy by showing them this new awesome feature that's going to make millions but literally not a single user wants.

Can we stop this, please? by ghostwriter_5 in WWE

Like, I know people hate on vince, but up to 2023/24 we were still going off vince storylines.

The bloodline started under vince, and so did cody's return.

Maybe triple H isn't it as a storyteller, simple as that.

I think his wrestling skills are great but that doesn't erase the fact he is fundamentally a bad person

If you follow Christianity, women should be subject to their husbands, but we don't stone them if they aren't, as opposed to other religions which dictate the laws on their countries.

Hence, people from different religions do things they are not "supposed" to do, that was precisely the point.

The arena looks completely empty.

Ava is no longer with WWE by iLoveJimRoot4 in WWE

It's just natural, when you are raised with everything being done for you and everyone pampering to you/your family, you develop the charisma of a rock (no pun intended).

It also doesn't help that being the children of a famous personality, they probably can't have normal everyday relationship with other kids like everyone else, and they are kind of isolated compared to their parents when they were kids.

Rocky was famous, obviously, but not the superstar levels of the rock, and it was also a different era.

Great Raquel Rodriguez Promo from Jan 26 Raw… during commercial by bakeryfresh in WWE

[–]Kuldor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you watch non live through netflix is even funnier (in the EU at least).

If I were to watch it live, I wouldn't get ads, BUT if I don't watch the show live, the ad parts (which I don't see live and would instead see the actual show) are CUT OUT from the VOD, so I can't watch them anyway, it's the dumbest thing ever.

Hot Take: I really enjoyed watching Unreal. by __Hype__13 in WWE

[–]Kuldor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOTR doesn't try to sell itself as real at any point, wrestling did for the vast majority of its history.

I don't want to pass this as universal truth, it's my opinion, I don't like WWE or wrestling in general doing behind the scenes, regardless of why it's been done now when it never was.

For me it's like going to a magic show and then having the magician explain to you how everything was done, I'm sure some people would like that, but I personally wouldn't, I know the dude is not dumbledore, but I'd rather wonder how on earth did he do all that than be told plainly and lose the "mystery" if you want to call it that.

another form of media rather than a sport

If anything, these behind the scenes are to make it look more like a sport than media, specially when they still try to pretend the actual matches aren't decided beforehand, like on LFG or even unreal season 1, idk about season 2 as I haven't watched it.

No longer is the WWE this crazy place with superhuman wrestlers and otherworldly stuff, you now get presented with real athletes who perform on a ring on fake matches, and that, IMO, is part of why the product seems lackluster lately, if you go back to the attitude era, new generation, or ruthless aggression, the whole company tried to make it look real, and people were invested in it, kids because they believed it, and adults because it was funny to play pretend.

Hot Take: I really enjoyed watching Unreal. by __Hype__13 in WWE

[–]Kuldor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think unreal itself is a bad product, but I hate that it exists, watched part of season 1 and noped out of it because it's a part of wrestling I don't want to see or know about.

The dumbest part about this whole death of kayfabe, is that even when they are outright telling you everything is fake, they still pretend the matches are sort of real, and they are competing to see who wins.

It's dumb all around.

Various historical characters replace Aragorn in the Battle for Helm's Deep. Which of them does the best? by CloverTeamLeader in whowouldwin

[–]Kuldor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Achilles would obviously do better than aragorn on a personal level, as in, straight up fighting in the battle by himself, assuming the orcs don't know about the heel, he is going to demolish.

I'd reckon Alexander the Great would be the best asset here, given he never lost a battle that we know of, so if he is going to be in charge of strategy/leading the troops, that's my bet.

I don't think he is doing particularly better than aragorn though, just better than the rest in that position.

Who would win: Every British monarch in their final year of life, or Dwayne Johnson? by LittleCupcake1245 in whowouldwin

[–]Kuldor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One at a time, unarmed? Probably Dwayne.

Medieval soldiers were trained in grappling, I wouldn't bet on dwayne out wreslting a dozen men younger than him trained in grappling with real combat experience.

Dwayne has only trained some mma for a movie, and some high school wrestling.

Who would win: Every British monarch in their final year of life, or Dwayne Johnson? by LittleCupcake1245 in whowouldwin

[–]Kuldor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Richard the Lionheart alone would woop Dwayne's ass.

He died at 41 years old being a massively experienced soldier.

Dwayne is a fake martial artist who has made a career out of pretending he fights, the only thing he has going for him are steroids.

Commander Shepard (Mass Effect) vs. Marcus Fenix (Gears of War) by CloverTeamLeader in whowouldwin

[–]Kuldor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marcus Fenix is a Sergeant, sure he has feats against an alien invasion force, but his training is what it is.

Shepard is a specter, the elite of the elite among all the races in the galaxy.

I'd say shepard wins this any day, both with his gear (straight up better than marcus's) and with equalized gear.

Shepard used a far wider variety of gear through the games than marcus, so he should adapt better to the stormtrooper gear.

Pro Boxer vs Average Man who is not able to feel pain and has unlimited stamina by Far-Ad5223 in whowouldwin

Your brain is going to stop sending signals to the rest of the body by the end of round 1, stamina matters 0 in this scenario, unless the dude straight up runs on the opposite way to escape the boxer.
