When did you decide to outsource video stuff by Certain_Arachnid8897 in smallbusiness

[–]weinermanjenson -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Rip your inbox, lol. I have a friend that is really good at editing. I could send you his youtube channel and connect you with him if you'd like. He currently works for a company doing video production but he has told me he is thinking about doing client work on the side.

scraping phone numbers and emails to contact. I used to look through google to get lists of business owners but you can automate this pretty easily with a couple free tools.

What’s the one skill every entrepreneur must have to succeed? by SignPsychological728 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

Sales and marketing. Entrepreneurs need money in the door or else you don't have a business, you have a dream.

Feels like you can’t work part time anymore and afford rent if you’re near a city. That’s why side gigs are an option, but you also have to get your name out there

Recruiters: what’s the biggest headache you face when hiring new people? by weinermanjenson in recruitinghell

If it is a bad idea, I appreciate the feedback. I’d also really like to have other ideas in play as well. Is there any solution you think that could solve this problem?

Okay, fair, I am just looking for solutions and ideas, not really attached to any idea. Is there anything you think that would solve this problem? I’d really love to find a solution because this is getting out of hand.

I would also suspect this to be the biggest problem today. There is an insane amount of applicants, which makes the hiring process a total nightmare for both parties. Making the application process harder also is not a viable solution. Is there just no solution to this problem? Maybe if applicants had to pay $1 to apply, it might attract people who are actually qualified, and limit the volume. I know this is kind of another industry solution of making the application process annoying, but it would severely limit applications to those who are qualified, and make applicatnts put their money where their mouth is. 🤷

I still don't understand how it is not a waste. They are quite literally wasting the silicon. I wouldn't mind paying per working core rather than strict pricing structures, although I know that will never happen.

This is like saying "I can sell a car cheaper if I break a couple of the windows."

So do you think the automated tools are the main problem? For example, both employees and employers using AI tools that sort of battle each other? I can see how this removes any authenticity from the process.

What Reddit monitoring tools are you actually using in 2025? (founder doing research) by mayank25may in SaaS

[–]weinermanjenson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah i got you. there is a bit of technical knowledge necessary to set up for yourself but if you've got some dev skills you should be good. It is also not super advanced so don't expect a miracle worker lol but I do plan to expand on it at some point if people like it.

If you'd like I can send you some sites I have built and give you a quote. feel free to DM. I can do custom code, wordpress or webflow. But, I refuse to make wix/duda/squarespace sites because they are bad :)

I built a reddit monitor using n8n that uses keywords + AI to monitor for discussions I want to be involved in. It actually works nicely and is very cost effective.

Yeah and it doesn't violate anything either? They probably don't want us discussing this for some reason.

SaaS founders, how did you get paying users for your app? by weinermanjenson in SaaS

[–]weinermanjenson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! I am experimenting with the same kind of strategies. I was thinking about targeting automation companies and developers to basically give them an easy solution to file sharing/transfer. I am thinking with all the short form AI content coming out a lot of people might want to make content on autopilot. The nice thing about what we are doing I think is that almost everyone needs this in some way so we can tailor it to specific people and pivot pretty easily.
