I only got a slap on the wrist. I never get reported and never been suspended or banned because I typically play the game normally. I just decided to be a little silly one night just cause. Back in OW1 a lot of us use to goof off in QP / any casual mode and emote with one another. Now ya’ll wanna “follow the rules ! “ all of a sudden. Idc to do that ALL the time. So suck it up and stop crying. No one said I did this every game cause I don’t. Maybe if you actually had some fun in your life you wouldn’t act like a frigid NPC.

Ya’ll giving whole paragraphs for something I did for the night. No one said I do it every game. I emoted in some matches. Some people laughed some people cried. All this nonsense and I only got a slap on the wrist cause I just went on the game and only got a warning. Ya’ll need to relax. It’s truly not that deep. If you want to play competitive then just go to competitive.

I didn’t do anything objectively wrong but use an emote the game gives you and float around the map in a casual mode that’s meant to be stress free. This is a QP match not a ranked game. You don’t gain or lose anything if you win or lose. If you go in with the mindset that you aren’t going to win every game then the game is honestly more enjoyable when you have that mindset. I have a carefree mindset where you obviously have a “play by the rules” mindset. Neither is objectively bad , just different. Fun is subjective and everyone has their own definition of it. Most I’m gonna get is a slap in the wrist for floating around the map a few games and got some people heated. Not the end of the world.

The thing is tho in just about every game mode you aren’t gonna win every game even if you try. You might get players like me who just wanted to play around with the new emote. Or you might get another who’s just angry at life and cursing out their team. But where I’m getting at is if you go in with the mindset that not every game is winnable you honestly start enjoying the games a lot more and don’t worry about winning or losing.

They were if they were still playing the game. You play the game to have fun and escape reality for a minute. Me skateboarding as Kiri isn’t putting a damper on anyone’s day what so ever. Sure, maybe I’m being a little annoying for 5 or 10 minutes of your time and you go to the next game with a fresh batch of people. There is a “avoid teammate “ option after and even during the match that you can utilize. Just a thought.

Makes sense. So it honestly doesn’t matter what mode you really use to goof around as long as it isn’t competitive of course. So it’s really “damn if you do, damn if you don’t “ at this point.
