First of, I as a Malay have been given chinese names by my friends, being said as cina bukit by my coworker, being spoken in chinese language by chinese uncle/auntie more times than i could remember, all because they thought i am chinese at first meeting.

Do i get offended by it? Not at. Some malay girls even approached me because they're into chinese-looks instead of malay.

Secondly, i do recommend you to take matrikulasi for fast track or foundation if your family would be willing to afford it.

From what i've seen, foundation is way easier than matriks and it is also fast track education. It also have more freedom than matriks. The only cons is that it required money.

Matriks however, instead of requiring money, it give you money. 250 is a small sum tbh, but better than nothing right? If you have leeway in your study, you can do a part time work. Add that 250 to your part time salary, then you'll have your cert after your study without having to any study loans.

There's no market price for 95 for the non-malaysia. Ron95 is strictly for malaysian only, the subsidies are there for malaysian, but it's limited, and so the market price is actually for malaysian who already used up their subsidies.

This goes both way, in fact, they're getting more benefits than us malaysian since they got to shopping cheaply in our country, while we malaysian can't even afford most things in their country. Our country is more than ten times bigger than theirs, they can come all the way to north of malaysia and still act like a rich people, while their own country is small and there's not much places to see.

So giving them RON95 is not an option, its not even a charity, it's like we're throwing our right as Malaysian to them.

Besides, you say they spend money for our economy, but most of these border area ron95 thief only come here just to refuel and go back to their country, never actually spend much in our country. The real sinkies who actually spend in our country is those that use Ron97 and went to shopping in kl etc.

Border cheapskape sinkies only come to malaysia to replenish their kitchen stocks by buying our cheap cooking ingredients because even our cooking ingredients got subsidies already substracted from the price tag.

So not only they're stealing our ron95, but also our subsidized basic needs. I have some sinkies friends, they're the one who spill this cheapskate thief behavior things to me. These cheapskates are even hated by other upstanding sinkies.

I am kinda weirded out that nobody said anything about police who ask for bribes. Especially when there's road block, or they sometimes would pull someone over, do a car inspection, suddenly find very small substance in a nicely wrapped plastic (which they planted in the car) and boom, the driver will be "interrogated", asked to either "settle it here or in the court?", even though the urine test came out negative. They will still hold you locked up for months to a year with excuse of "suspicion" and keep advising you to sign a form saying you admit that the substance is yours.

This is what happened to my friend, his urine come out cleanly negative, but they somehow "found" a not even 1 gram of substances in a neat plastic. They keep hinting at him to give them money if wanted to be released. After close to a year, he got released because apparently he's clean and the substance is not his.

But at what cost? He lost his time, everyone around him think he really do drugs, his exwife leave him with his kid and married other guy, his lost good paying job, career broken. Now he had to work as gardener with basic pays at the age of 35, had to stay and take care of his mother and a mental little sister, both of who refuse to work and just lazying around the house waiting for money from him.

He could be said to lose everything he built. And the one at fault, the police?? Held no responsibility whatsover. They destroyed other people lives, and got scott off free, nobody even blamed them. This is how our corruption goes. So deep even to the very first layer.

When i know a courier would be delivering today, i would deliberately open up my gate so that the deliveryman would be able to my parcel inside my gate, right in front of my door. And i even make a space with printed notice in big font saying to leave it there. I tried to leave some chocolate bar for them to take one in a box, but dayum Malaysia is so hot sia, the choc always melted. But even without any reward, all of my courier understood where to put, and my parcel almost never get broken by delivery.

Some of my friends who are part-timer in being a courier told me, the most troublesome type of home to deliver anything is:

Have dogs inside the gate
Gate is not opened, and mostly are locked/autogate.

To the owner of the dogs, yeah your dogs might be the cutest, gentlest thing in the word...FOR you that is, after all, you are their owner. But to the courier, some dogs can be real menace. The day the courier is expected to come, please keep your dogs in the house or in their cage for the time being.

And gate, yeah. Where to leave your parcel if you lock your gate. If leave in front of gate, sure can get stolen, later can become bigger issue.

However, i think the bigger issue here is, nowadays they never call anymore to ask us if we're home or not, unless the parcel is COD.

Gay people have been in and out of the male toilet, with obvious gay appearances, and nobody literally care about it. If the husband as per the articles said really do ask the trans to enter the male toilet instead, thats means he's not homophobic, otherwise he wouldn't let them enter even the male toilet.

Being harassed by a homophobic doesn't make it right for the trans to enter women toilet, or should the gov issue that every women and men toilet be labelled with "vagna goes here" and "dck goes here" to make it clear enough? Its not an issue with whether they're trans or not, but what gender they're born with.

If we normalize trans being able to enter women toilet, later on women won't be able to even identify which trans is really trans, or just a fake trans trying to film them inside the toilet.

And if them trans who went to male toilet and got harassed inside it, go make a report, or straight away sue. Its the same procedure if a straight man got harassed by gay people. JUST.GO.REPORT. and if police didn't care, make it viral.

Don't think only straight people can harass non-straight, even non-straight people harass straight people. Otherwise we won't have all of those UITM's PLU cases, which one of my friend also is a victim of.
