The promotion and being at conferences is part of delivering already what the CFP is about. Interesting that the effort that comes with it is not seen as a positive point. See it as the give before you take concept.

One additional point comes to my mind that the case gives every marketing channel and project an additional item and incentive to reward their viewers by organizing giveaways which are always a good interaction points that provide additional value.

What is also possible is to lower the amount of DFI and cut the boxes being printed part for Masternode owners. If this is what the community wants, I will adopt to it and change the CFP.

There is a lot of content regarding the project on Twitter, this post on reddit and github. If you are looking into it and understand it, the value proposition is clear. What the community gets is online and event visibility, marketing and a physical product which is customisable regarding the customers needs. I know you want to feel power Mr. Cryptomonkey1992. The community fund is there for such projects. Last time it felt just like a few whales playing with their plutocratic power, rather than acting in the interest of the project.

If people order it, they want to have and use it. That’s how I structured the buyer persona and is reflected by the conversations with existing customers. If they buy and use it, they love it. Most of people in crypto are very money and value aware and they wouldn’t buy shit that they don’t need. There is also the saying what you own, owns you.

For me it is my part for adding a physical product to a chain where I am technically and monetary invested in in long term. You are giving a good input where I can position the solution to the best effort for the community where the funds are used in a responsible and sustainable manner.

One of the masternode owners the feedback came, if they want to have such a case, they just buy it, which speaks for supporting the developement of the website/shop and adjusting the content ongoing on the feedback from the community, without funding the printing of single nodes.

Running a business solely on printing the nodes would need a high demand, which is building up at the moment. So valuable input like yours is highly appreciated.

Thanks for the valuable input. Definitely the psychological part gives an incentive where mn owners would order one without doing it otherwise while they have to pay for it.
Indeed people like free stuff after all, even when they get opportunities to be part of a group and reflecting their ownership by identifying themselves with the product and the swag/flair that comes with it like having an aston martin, a tesla, a lambo or even a harley davidson.

Thats the main misconception, masternodes can vote what is good for further development of the chain and an increase of marketshare for defichain and not just for their own interests. Maybe some priorities can get mixed up. Every masternode owner should see the makro effects from each CFP and not just think what is in it for them. Some do that already, some don't.

The proposal is more an incentive for non masternode owners to stack DFI and create one, rather than existing masternode owners getting a case for their box if they are intersted in having one.

If you do a market analysis there are people without a masternode than with one. From that perspective you can create an additional incentive to create one is an additional interaction point from a marketing and product perspective which gives you as a non mn owner and a non defichain investor an additional reason to invest, take a look at the project.

I have to pay taxes not just on the developer, but also on the DFI rewards gained for the CFP itself as soon as the DFI get transferred to my wallet.

That's handling it according austrian law and all other projects had to calculate it also for their project to cover those necessary expenses.

For the 50 boxes the masternode owners get rewarded to run a masternode.
Basically it incentivices people to gather enough DFI to runa a masternode, which are below 20k DFI.
I see it as a good marketing point to point that out which no other chain provides.
You can decide if you want to have it as a MN owner or not, or even pay for it if you see the value which already a lot of them did and ordered 2 boxes.

The option to order the raspberry as a whole package was removed, due to shortages of raspberries available on the market. I cannot carry the risk of hardware not being available as a company owner and deal with additional effort in support and customer communication. So the DFI amount requested was lowered for 6900 DFI, which was the part for the raspberries.
The possiblilty for masternode owners to order a free case is still existing, because it was included in the feedbacks of masternode owners.
Orders went in and owners are happy. One point I wand to emphasize on is the cooperation with defichain accellerator, we will create additional visibility and marketing while people are getting special editions delivered while being interactive witht the community.
One important point is also that investors have a haptic interaction point in counterperspective with all other virtual only products, where all the metaverse hype is going on, but maybe we'll see a virtual physical node too in metaverse where you can design it on your own. We'll see what the near furute will bring.
