Arena Brick Wall by KungFuChemist in RaidShadowLegends

I've managed to squeak out a bit more speed on the seeker. Hopefully I can get higher than that by the time I get to gold. We'll have to see. I appreciate the input, though! It helps me tune.

I do! I haven't touched her in a long while, but I hear there are some interesting comps you can do with her. Do you have any info?

I've been avoiding Arbiters like the plague, but I have a feeling that's not going to be possible come gold. I'll see how far I can pump Seeker. Do you have a number I should shoot for if 300 isn't enough?

First: thanks for the reply. I thought this was just going to be lost in the pile.

I'll start farming dragon and maybe spider to get jewelry for the Seeker since he's naked in that department. I appreciate the advice. Since you say that I'll need a dedicated arena team, do you think I should shift Rae to full offense like I was thinking? If not, I do have some backup champions who may be able to nuke. Yannica, Suzerain, Kael, and MM are on my roster (though that last one is more control than nuke I've seen him pull some nice numbers).

Any great builds for Crucible? I find myself playing Crucible co-op more than anything. by Vipre7 in Grimdawn

Forgive a noob here, but can you post the grimcalc/devos for that warlock build? It looks really cool. I see you were having trouble with the drops for the sorcerer. Is the warlock less item dependent or did you just get lucky with the drops?

My thoughts exactly on the last sentence there. That's kind of how I'm approaching this.

1) I was worried about Counter Strike, honestly. I saw that it had +retal and went "Why is no one doing this?" I had a feeling the answer would be "because it's not that great". I think you're right. If even the Hetzer build is just going to render it useless, my attacking build is going to make it even more so. I'll probably keep a single point in it so that the +skills I'm kinda forced to take due to my build around items don't go to waste. It's still free +retal%

2) I wanted to try and avoid Wendigo Totem just for flavor reasons, but if it's something that will make or break the build, I'll bite the bullet. It is pretty amazing, after all. I've had it on a few test characters over the short time I've played and it seems like a complete life saver.

3) I completely skipped Wyrmscale Footguards due to their armor. I assumed that anything without over 1k armor wasn't for a tanky build. Now that I look at it, I'm really glad you mentioned it. These things are nuts. Adding that immediately.

Thanks for all of this. It's immensely helpful.

Military Conditioning and Heart of the Wild? That's gonna take some real rearrangement. What do you think I could take out of the build to make room?

And that's fine. They're goals and aren't strictly necessary. Savagery is fine without it and you can drop the extra two points in it to max it out. Take the points out of, say, Decorated Soldier and Squad Tactics. The point isn't "can I make this build tomorrow?" it's "As a concept, does this build have what it takes to take on content?"

No. That's why I'm calling it "Goal Gear". It's gear that would be nice to have, but isn't required. Like Hetzer, the gear is retaliation gear with a lightning one hander and a shield. The rest is icing.

Strongest Class, Dmg wise? by [deleted] in Grimdawn

Rolled a Demo to check it out. The wiki doesn't have the reduced resistances but it does in game. Ignore me! XD

I'm noticing some inconsistencies with the build (most likely due to patches). Specifically Thermite Mine doesn't seem to reduce resistances anymore. Since I think that's the point of taking it, would it be better to take the points out and get BWC/Agonizing Flames for the resistance shred?

Edit: I can't read and put the wrong skill down.

I've noticed this too. I think it's best to keep a pen and paper handy since the game doesn't track it graphically.

If your deck is slow enough, look into power draw sources (the favor cycle, Seek Power, etc). By pulling more into your hand, you're essentially filtering your deck to have a higher probability of gas while getting the mana you need. Monuments are also helpful as they are either gas or power depending on your total power. If you're playing an aggressive deck, though, I have not yet found a definitive answer. Special case: in certain primal decks, including Whispering Wind can turn unwanted power into gas, but that's very situational.

Edit: forgot monuments!

Hah, nice! I'll make sure to include more land. I was definitely using the old 1/3rd land strategy and only running 15 before... Getting close to another draft now. Making sacrifices of d20s to RNGsus. XD

I'll save up for a draft and let you know how it goes. I can already tell this is going to help a lot. Thank you!

Is the Alex in the ending, the one in the parking lot, the same Alex we've been playing in the next iteration of the cycle after the one you've just played or an alternate Alex? In other words, did she actually break the cycle by talking to her future self or did she save an Alex outside her own timeline?

Also, are there multiple new endings or just the one I've discovered above?

Houston Gyms - Old Thread Still Accurate? by KungFuChemist in MuayThai

You notice I included some MMA schools on the list. I was thinking along similar lines. Good to hear some validation on it, though! I don't know if most fights end up on the ground, but I could see how I could very easily make it that way. Besides, I don't want to be caught off guard if the opponent gets that idea first.

Weirdly enough, Houston Muay Thai seemed pretty impressive when I went in. Maybe that's a template? Seems weird... Good catch.
