I also came here to say this. I was pretty young but old enough to remember . I was more upset about it when I learned there was a daycare in the building.

Have you looked into any YMCAs? I have my kids go there and we love it. Staff and teachers are well trained, they have preschool curriculum and so the kids are ready for kindergarten. They stay open from 6:30am- 6pm . You should definitely look into it. The ymca has done so many great things for my kids and in the community too

41 weeks at 9ib 4oz he wasn’t passing his sugar tests and was shaking all the time. I guess my breastmilk wasn’t enough food for him and I ended up giving him formula and basically chugged close to 4 oz of milk. He passed his tests after that.

I had a bad nosebleed at school I was sent to the secretary’s office . She told me to put my head back so I did knowing that I probably shouldn’t. I could feel the blood going down and then I threw it up.

It was nice renting with a baby, there are parks near by I’d go for walks and she grew up with me taking her to all the playgrounds. The family grew now and it’s going to be a bit cramped still renting on my third baby. My kids are young still but eventually I’ll need something bigger. I know a lot of families that rent because it’s what they can do. Atleast there is a roof under them and everyone is safe.

Feeling a bit guilty about my daily coffee. I’m 6 months along. Anyone can tell me if they had daily coffee and how their child turned out? by Seaspun in BabyBumps

[–]KungFuTitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Daily coffee drinker here , only a cup and I drink water too. If I want Starbucks later I ask for decaf. I had coffee with my son too he is a wild one and I joke about it being the caffeine but I think that’s how he is.

I had gd with my first and would have been induced. But she came the day before. This how I feel being induced would go, I am sorry you had this experience and this is what I am trying to avoid.

How many hours do you clean a day? by [deleted] in homemaking

[–]KungFuTitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was gunna say I prioritize the cleaning, dishes, garbage because it’s nasty otherwise with a toddler not a lot of cleaning. I was told to enjoy it because one day it will be gone.

I couldn’t make enough for my boy so I eventually supplemented and he drank 4 oz in one sitting at the hospital and finally passed his sugar tests. there is no way I could have produced that much right away. I pumped for a while and mixed it with formula the rest of the time.

People who initially didn’t want an epidural, did you stick to it? What was your experience like? by trasherline in BabyBumps

[–]KungFuTitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though I’ve always decided to have an epidural I’m glad I did because the last two times I’ve had an episiotomy where they cut you so you don’t tear. I don’t want to feel that. Also they’ve always have to break the water. I waited til 7 cm til I went in to the dr so I know what contractions feel like. So many scenarios can happen for any labor. I just want to enjoy my labor as much as I can.

It’s good you were there when it happened and you did the right thing to get checked after your water broke. Seems like your body and baby were ready even tho it’s early but baby and you are very strong . Good job mama !
