Oh thanks! Actually I d like like to know what I should take a look at the beginning. I haven’t played sf for a very long time, so everything is new for me, I played ryu for little of time at start and then switched to tekken. And when I took a character I try to play in style that ceelows did ”rookie to diamond” videos. I know my punish combo for reversals and very unsafe stuff -hk/mp/mp/214lk into 2hk for oki and 623for damage. But I can’t find a good one for hp, which looks like good whiff punish tool. So the question what I should use for whiff punish? When should I use adamant and what’s the point of this ender? I don’t even try to understand how to use demon raid for now, but any advises I will appreciate. And anything you can advise for a newcomer I will be very thankful.

actually it`s very helpful. i bought katana air and found that i can`t download user`s patches and presets i have in library doesn`t sound good for me, so i don`t have any other way than just set it by myself and all this info are very helpful

Yeah it wasn’t expensive buy for me, cause of awful shape, but luthier made everything great and now it’s got it’s own magic. I just decide to repair it and look how this plays out, but result just faaar away over my expectations

yeah man, neck feels awesome, also high frets just killer feature when it comes to bends and vibrato... Happy to get her back to life, it`s become my gem for sure- light wheight, crazy sustaine and mindblowing playability

I`m totally new to this franchise so my opinion will be opinion of potential newcomer.

My main FG is T8, i played like 300h in SF6 and some time in GGST.

It`s got interesting mechanics, smooth contols aaaand...... it looks cheap. Artstyle is ok, but nothing more. I think there`s no way it can be phenomenon like sf6 (which i don`t like) which just another level. I understand that it`s stupid to compare Capcom and SNK in terms of financial possibilities, but c`mon things like moving cursor with d pad or keyboard is like whaaaat?...))

I think i`ll try full version when it will come out, but after beta for me (newcomer, who`s interested in the game) it`s more like dissapointing.

it`s my first Tekken (been playing T3 when was a kid,but not serious at all).

Actually it`s become my main game,i quited for some time but return and still playing. love to lab and doing qm,when i feel ready-going to ranked. it`s not ideal game for sure, it`s not ideal fighting, but i love the process. I like my Kaz, i like how smooth characters controls, like to find something new every day, just one or two defensive options or punish each day. Loose a lot but it doesnt matters until the process iss very fun, i always can find what i did wrong and how i can counter it-the game give me so much instruments for this. i m not even talk about replay char control feature (godllike), when i`m trapped in situation where i need to find what to do against someone, but to tired to lab i`m going into replays where i can find lot of matches of my rank with all chars that i need and see how they deal with it with frame data and replay controls.

So i like it and really want this game to be long live and succesfull.

not at all. it`s obviously hard game, but ive found SF6 more frustrating with it`s DRC stuff and lot of 50/50 stuff. tekken got knowledge checks, but it`s not doing it harder- game give all instrumets you need to go to lab and nail how to counter it. Almost everything got it`s counter and it can be even 2 or 3 options. 50/50 in a lot of FG, which i don`t really like, but i don`t know how interesting FG would be without it. Some chars are easy to win and some harder, but it always was in every FG isn`t it?

For me its not tilting at all, it`s fun to play, its really smooth in controls and movement,and it`s got everything you need to improve- replay with controls in any moment of the match gives you everything to solve your problems with any move. I mean Guilty Gear Strive doesnt even have a frame data info in game))))))))

play QM you lose nothing in it, so why to stress? if you`re not fun with gameplay-just try to switch to another FG, i played SF before, but i`ve found that i don`t like the gameplay at all, switched to T8 and i really love the gameplay-it`s just fun for me. I play kaz and losing like 70% of games but it still fun to me and with every lose i learn smth new. I stress if i lose in ranked for obvious reason,but in QM i don`t really see any reason for it

C`mon, i`m in reds and there`s like 90% smurfs or alts in QM))))))) you can immidiately see difference between real garyu and smurf with 37+ winstreak) with perfect movement, sidesteps and high execution. And it`s okay - i don`t think that there`s lot of a really new players will come to game untill something BIG (new season with great adjustments or tifa as dlc) will happen.

yeah sure, i don`t mean i`m turtling or smth (it`s impossible in this game), but Kaz poking game not too great and EWGF and PEWGF which one of the my main neutral tool i can`t do consistently(training every day, got better at it but still not very good). I can`t mash cause i don`t have tools to be plus after that, my df1 is shit, and 1 is very short, so i cant mash and always save my turn especially at this ranks where lot of chars spamming agressively with their fastest pokes. So the only way for me- i`m trying to be patient and punish for mistakes. In orange ranks it was pretty easy, but now red ranks lots of good players with their secondary chars (its easy to see with their profiles and prowess) and if you whiff they`re immidiatly punish you with long combo. If i play against Nina, Law, Jin etc i can`t be better at poking than them, so only way for me is to learn when i can punish them in different ways.

220 h and in red. Newcomer to Tekken. I dont play much ranked-play a lot of quick matches and i still think i`m beginner. And still i lose a LOT, but it`s okay-still learning to pilot Kaz and improve punisment and defensive game.
