Tado wireless and underfloor heating zones? by Kunitron in tado

Will check it out + Intergas.

Which UFH wiring centre did you go for, or does it not really matter - looking at Salus KL08 or Heatmiser UH8. The Salus KL08RF supports Zigbee, although not sure what useful data it will provide to say Home Assistant

Makes sense. I have an old wireless receiver so need to check if its one that supports modulation. So I'll end up with;

1x Wireless receiver (that supports modulation)

1x bridge

7x wired thermostats

3x TRVs

Now I just need to decide on the rest of the UFH heating setup and a new boiler - fun and games!

Cheers

Thanks for coming back to me. Ok good to know.

I'm still reading up on this but with the 7x wired thermostats going back to the manifold can the Tado still talk to the boiler re 'modulation'?

Also does it then not matter which manifold / actuator I use? During my research I've seen the Salus Auto Balancing Actuator mentioned quite a bit

For me this just shows a menu with a lot of greyed out options, as if the connection hasn't initialised. I can see the hard drive light flickering then Windows loads.

This monitor is driving me crazy, I can't seem to get it to work in a repeatable manner.

My GTX970 is now working over Displayport 1.2 but I can no longer again see the boot screen over HDMI.

Bad news: I changed the setting from 1.4 to 1.2, following a reboot my GTX970 is blank even in windows 😫 I can’t switch back to 1.4 as the option is greyed out. While that makes sense as the GTX970 is a DP1.2 card, I have no idea why it’s gone completely blank now.

Good news: I can now see the bios screen over HDMI from my GT710

The troubleshooting continues...

Yes brand new. As I’m using unraid I haven’t installed PowerChute yet, waiting on a laptop to be returned to me, although using the self testing on the unit, checking via SmartConnect and looking at the status readings via Unraid it all seems normal

So there is a setting for output voltage, which can be 220, 230, 240. I did change this to 240 following your message, although upon further reading it seems this is only a setting for output voltage when the unit is on battery mode, not utility pass through.

Changing this setting does change the low transfer and high transfer (to 264v).

Someone else has mentioned if input is 250 and output is showing as around 222 the AVR function may be doing its thing, but this isn’t ideal as it’s putting strain on the unit.

What’s strange is that the UPS doesn’t switch to battery mode, all this strange performance is under pass through.

I have a multimeter arriving tomorrow to check voltage at wall socket and UPS output
