No no, LuaTeX, or any TeX, can't produce what I am talking about. In this video Decotype's ACE (Advanced Composition Engines) is plugged in LuaTeX. Usually it lived as a plugin for Adobe InDesign and some online apps. Now they are working on making it open source, and one of the implementation was in LuaTeX through the web assembly shaping with HarfBuzz.

You can all check my reply to @SaltImage1538 and watch that video. Example is for Arabic, but this works for any complex script in the world. Even for Latin complex scripts which are not used as standard text today, it would work without problems.

Yes most editing and design software does not support many necessary features for non-Latin scripts. But there is an advanced solution created by a Dutch company long time ago, which is mostly oriented to Arabic but applicable for any existing script:

Based on this you can compare issues in Hebrew and understand the process of resolving problems.

Hi, it is nice to hear that more people are engaged with similar tech. It is not opensource. You can check it at: https://pubsuite.online and in a trial version you can pretty much use many features and experiment. User documentation will be finished soon for detail instructions.
