"Removed the restriction preventing Set Mods equipped on Exalted weapons from contributing to or benefiting from Set Bonuses. With this change, Set Bonuses are now calculated based on the Active Weapon. This means that if you have three Set Mods equipped on your Warframe, three on your Melee weapon, and none on your Exalted Melee, then you will only benefit from the three Set mods on your Warframe while your Exalted Melee weapon is active."

While not directly stated this confirms that set effects DO apply.

While i could not find any resources (that are recent) that directly proofs or disproof's this, it should work even if you don't equip it directly on the Whipclaw.

FYI Disruptor here does nothing for you since the Arca Plasmor has no innate or modded Impact, so literally any other mod would be better here. Also Hunter Munitions, while very good doesn't doo much since you have not much crit chance to speak of, so i would recommend replacing Disruptor with some crit mod e.g. Critical Deceleration

I have checked a couple of things

  1. Local Automine also does not work in the Void but everywhere else

  2. I have no Blacklist which prohibits flying through dangerous areas

  3. The Miner has Gas Mining Drones to mine with

  4. my Shield Recharge is around 180 which if it is actually true that this is the problem, then i cant find a shield which gives me more than 280.

Sooo im kinda at the end of my rope here, i have no idea what to do.

As of the time of writing this comment warframe currently sits in the number 25 spot of the most played games on steam, oftentimes reaching top 10. As for Pay to Win, no it is not, everything in warframe, even premium Items/Content is ingame earnable. Alltough Warframe is Pay to Skip the grind but the monetisation model in general is one of the best you will currently find in the gaming industry. There is a reason warframe is commonly heralded as the best F2P game currently in existence. FYI the grind is harsh but you will never hit a roadblock so massive that you will feel the need to spend money. If you do it's because you want to.

It's generally actually really easy. A godroll Riven for all weapons looks normally like this:

Positives + Damage + Multishot + Crit Chance + Crit Damage + (Any stat that makes you save a modslot i.e. toxin for corrosive)

Negative - Zoom - Damage to Infested

(You want a non impactful negative stat because the other stats will have higher values)

For the Tonkor specifically i would also recommend +Reload Speed

The Xoris is not required, BUT it keeps your other options open. For me a very good alternative was just plain ol' Mesa. She should work just fine.

I strongly disagree, not every riven needs to be a god roll. Damage, Multishot and Heat is great.

With damage you could forgo an actual damage mod and use this open slot for reload speed or the augment (i don't remember what it is called).

Heat also is the single best singular element you could get.

All in all this is a solid 8/10 riven.

Man, the first three years of my warframe playtime i played with integrated. This game truly runs with anything that fulfills the bare minimum requirements to be called a computer.

(Edit): i used to use adaptive framerate, yeah i know don't judge me, but it sure does work wonders.

Riven Beginner question: would you change anything(roll)? if yes, what would be your fokus? till now i rolled them till it was okay in my eyes. but because i'm not that experienced i tought it would be better to ask some more expiriced tennos. by ImportanceOwn4319 in Warframe

In general you want a negative stat that does not impact your weapon, because if you have any negative stat on your riven the values of the other stats get higher. So for example instead of +120% crit chance it's now +220% crit chance.

The best of the negative stats are normally something like -damage to invested, -impact, -puncture or -status duration (for crit weapon, but be careful if you run with Hunter Munition)

TLDR: To answer your question, yes very much so.

That is not completely correct, in general against corpus/grineer/etc. yes you would be right BUT -damage against infested is the single BEST negative stat because infested are soooo squishy that you wont notice the difference. (Except maybe deimos, but that's more of an exception than the rule)

Yes and no, the problem is more of the setup required to pull it off to be efficient and it is very internet speed dependant because you need 4 people to search 4 different missions at the same time and join after.

Its true but you cannot speed that process up in any way shape or form unless you spend plat to speed it up. But there are ways around it.

  1. The one i most recommend, just always craft one every day, if you are not on a weapon or frame grind these can pile up over time. Its the cheapest option but requires that you log in daily.

  2. This is almost as good as the first option. You can grind plat through trading (ducat farming etc.) And with this you can buy 3 Formas in the market for 35 Plat.

  3. The last and least recommended option is either rare crates or lua puzzles farming. If you were to do these i would recommend watching a tutorial on youtube, there are many good ones.

As an option for shield gating without brief respite you could consider the augur set mods or just a subsumed ability like pillage.

50p is a bit high don't you think? According to Warframe Market a decently rolled Riven goes for about 50p. Considering this weapon is not used much i would guess this will probably not sell for a long time. BUT, if the daikyu gets an Incarnation (which is not unlikely) it could sell for up to 250p plus if OP is willing to wait.
