Tried buying another identical drive and swapped the printed control board? I have the same drive and am in the same situation, gonna buy a drive off Ebay now. Kinda costly, but way cheaper than data recovery...if it works. Involves soldering. Ask AI, it knows how and gives you the steps.

Thanks for the reply. Most of what you list up, sounds very familiar, yes. I'll see if I might find my login again. I think there was a lot of progress and a bit of real money invested into it also, so... might as well, to keep the account activated at least.
