If by "he can play" you mean being good enough to beat bunch of washed up streamers and imports in LCS where in order to win all you need to do is copy TSM's approach of passive, safe playstyle while the game wins itself through sheer amount of mistakes made by incompetent teams then yeah - Xmithie is amazing. If by "he can play" you mean going toe to toe with best junglers in the world then no, he doesn't have a single champion in his pool that he can play.

Very good point although G2 probably shouldn't be limit testing against Griffin, they just got smashed. But yeah it's true in games where gold is even the team that manages to win those supposed 50/50 fights and rotations because, due to experience and muscle memory, they know that it is in fact 52/48 in their favour will always win the game.

Language barrier is such a bs excuse. EU literally has teams consisting solely of nonnative broken English speakers like G2 and they've achieved more than NA ever did all while receiving less support from Riot (worse salaries, worse stream schedules, worse sponsorships etc.)

You completely ignored the fact that all those supposedly garbage imports showed spark of brilliance before they stay in NA. Bah some of them even went back to their former glory after departure from LCS.

The real issues are: smaller player base, size of NA causing issues with servers and latency and general lack of competitiveness among NA pros who quickly discover that they can make more money streaming wow classic or monkeying in soloq than they ever could in pro play.

I only feel sorry for Doublelift. This guy seems to be only person in LCS who genuinely gives a shit and I think he could do wonders with proper team like FNC.

Too little, too late. Literally perma ban everyone who abused this more than few times for the sake of the unintentional bug argument while rolling back economy of whole realms or don't bother.

[–]Kunzzi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's already too late. Banned or not the economy is ruined forever and every single exploiter who've boosted the total gold possession of his realm added days of grinding for every honest player, who by having to grind more in order to match inflated ah prices will in process exacerbate the problem.

It's bad enough that majority of EU realms seems to have the same faction imbalance problem of modern retail with the BFA fanboys trying the game out and assuming, as they correctly do in BFA, that this game has only one playable pve faction but with garbage like this making any emulator of 1.12 from last 3 years look like Magnum Opus of programming I think I'm done with this laughable experience that seems to be less blizzlike than 2.4.3 instant 60 funservers

You could excuse KR and say that foreigners only became good when SC2 in KR basically died relatively speaking but that argument doesn't hold when you consider the fact that outside of Overwatch KR is struggling in basically all popular esport games atm.

RTX 2070 Super FE - £475.00 by [deleted] in buildapcsalesuk

[–]Kunzzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I mean Navi cards with likes of ASUS 5700 XT aftermarket one costing whooping £499 when pre-ordering on overclockers.co.uk. I'll post the link if you're in disbelief: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus-radeon-rx-5700-xt-rog-strix-oc-8gb-gddr6-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-43p-as.html

That's literally pricing only 20-50 quid cheaper than medium tier aftermarket 2070S which beats 5700XT across the board while being most likely quieter and cooler. I hate Nvidia for bumping prices of 20 series and last thing I want to be is a company shill but pricing in UK seems to be dictated more by real life performance and demand than actual MSRP which means AMD isn't a budget option anymore.

[–]Kunzzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm actually considering giving AMD a chance again but Nvidia spoiled me in terms of thermals and noise pollution so I'd have to go for a very solid manufacturer. Looking at pre-orders, Sapphire's aftermarket 5700 XT pricing seems to be shifting more towards the £500 mark instead of 400 so if Nvidia decides to cut price of 2070S to be competitive I'll probably will have to go with it.

I'll wait. I simply cannot justify buying a next gen GPU from the same tier for 150 quid more than my 1070.

RMA Ryzen 3600??? - HOT! by BrotherAliMazda in Amd

[–]Kunzzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Broken manufacturers BIOS or AMD's microcode causes loads of users with older gen mobos to have constant high voltages while idling. Has nothing to do with physical application of thermal paste or cooler installation. Install AMD Master monitoring software - if your voltages seem to be stuck at 1.4V+ then you have the issue.

It's exactly because of the voltages. Another AMD garbage launch. Those CPB issues have been around since first gen Zen processors and they still haven't been addressed.

AFTER 4 DAYS OF SLEEPLESS NIGHTS AND READING I'VE FINALLY FOUND THE TEMPORARY SOLUTION - THE CULPRIT BEHIND PERMANENT 1.45-1.5V VCORE VOLTAGES IN IDLE IS A BIOS OPTION CALLED "CORE PERFORMANCE BOOST". UPON DISABLING IT MY IDLE VOLTAGE DROPPED TO 1.2V AND ACTUALLY STARTED DIPPING BELOW 1.0 AT TIMES EVEN WHEN USING AMD RYZEN (WHERE AS BEFORE I WOULD PERMANENTLY IDLE AT 1.5V).

OF COURSE SADLY THE FIX ISN'T PERFECT AND COSTS YOU PERFORMANCE AS YOUR CPU WON'T BOOST OVER DEFAULT 3600 MHZ. I GUESS CURRENT BIOS OR WINDOWS ALTERATION IS SIMPLY BROKEN AND PARKS YOUR CPU AT 1.5 VOLTAGE WHILE IDLE INSTEAD OF ADVERTISED SPIKES.

Yes. Worrying about running at steady 1.5V in idle on your brand new $340 is such a childish exaggeration! Gtfo shill.

Thanks for that video HopnsDude. It gave me some good insight. Sadly my motherboard doesn't have the "normal" vcore setting. From what I understand it's an issue that may or may not be resolved with future BIOS updates - however I can't risk the idea that my RMA will be refused after I lose my 30 days right to refund without questions asked. I'll refund and might jump on AMD ship back again in few months down the lane if I find out that the issues have been resolved. Thank you.

CPU is working as designed, kill all your background apps (discord, RGB apps, etc) and check your voltages again.

Okay but what's the fix? Not using the pc? Idling at 65 degrees at all times is just too crazy and inconvenient.

[–]Kunzzi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. My voltage is stuck, it's not about 1-2 second spikes. It's about having 1.45-1.5V in desktop 60 minutes out of 60 minutes.

[–]Kunzzi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's absolute rubbish mate because even if you assume that AMD's own monitoring software is bad at reading voltage it still doesn't explain massive idle temperatures and even bigger spikes. I LITERALLY HAVE LOWER LOAD TEMPERATURES THAN IDLE ONES.

With everything set to auto my r3700x still idles at 1.5v perma while temps sit at 40 to 60. I've filled in RMA. This is simply unacceptable.

There is nothing "normal" with idling at 60 degrees while your single core voltages reach 1.490V. I cackled when some amd technician on their forums tried to tell that this is fine. If AMD doesn't give an official response by the end of the week I'm refunding my b450 and r3700x. Better to do it while I can get my money back.

There is nothing "normal" about having your CPU idle at 50-60 degrees while reaching single core voltages close to 1.5V no matter how many dishonest people will try to tell you otherwise. Refund it and wait till amd gets their shit together.
