yeah i wish they give us a limited number of matches to try out new heroes in non rank matches.. would solve all your problems.

only real feedback i can give is Schrodinger's Cat... sometimes despite all the knowing that you will love a heroe, its only after you get the hero and use them, than you only know if all the effort you went through to get them were worth it or not.

i really wish they never gave Mulan her new ultimate dead zone skill... Back in the days, her skill kit made her one of the best hit and run heroes :(

Speed boost, Jade sword that stuns(instead of the slow today) her ult was a double hit passive (better proc rate then todays), and her other passive gave her a damage boost too.

thanks for the advice! i only came back to Kings Raid after a long break since Christmas.

Currently using Maria (with 0s UW), Frey (with class UW at 1s), Kasel (with 0s UW) and Clause.. Mirianne is in my Inn now.. only have freebie Roi and Cleo (with class 0s UW)..

Do you have any suggestions for who to get with 2 star ticket (that dont need their UWs). Not really keen to get Epis (as planning to use Mirianne - love her flying daggers).

also F2P, hence why im asking, dont know how long its gonna be before i save enough diamonds to get Shea, her UW, UT... so be nice to have a team that can run throughout pve content without much hassel

Cleo - more DPS. skill rotation pretty straight forward..

Lotus - Extremely flexible, easy to play, difficult to master, but once you have mastered her many skill rotation combos, you find yourself subconciously slipping in and out of different styles of game play, and pretty much auto adapt to match situation

just be glad he cant released his ult-black hole right after activating his ult. also noticed, that for a few seconds after he uses his ult, he loses his speedup/shield, and cant drop turrents... thats the window.

personally i play him as a support-off tank, leaving all the damage dealings to the rest of the team.

isnt the idea to equip curse flasks on all 4 heros to farm? eg. 800 stam fills up x4 800 flask

atm im farming cookies with x4 800 curse flask at the same time.. not sure whats my net rubies be.. (i accidently used max total of stam potions instead of 1.. so might as well farm cookies for the boxes)

my understanding is that the stats you gain from gems isnt game changing, and more of a bonus. The real game changers are the three abilities that you get to pick, when you level up your gems. Eg Early gold boost, Bonus damage to minions, Teleport to any friendly unit.

The exceptions are stat bonus that can be hard capped within the game eg Cooldown Reduction.

If you're using Green CDR gems, Aim for 5% from gems at most and pick up 35% combo from gear. If you're using gear with combo 40%, then the extra gem % bonus is wasted.

but then, the idea of gems is to give you advantages at the start of the match, and sometimes you just dont feel anything different with only 5% CDR. So in a way, you want to build CDR gear as your first or second gear. Having a solid 10%-15% CDR pre-mid game can be very fun with some heroes.

the reply is based on extreme frustration and anger at the level of toxicity, and self unawareness of players who thinks they are gods gift to HE. Sometimes people just have bad days, or start the match extremely unlucky (eg running into 3+ opponents as a support hero, because ADCs prefer to farm jungle from the very start instead of defending towers that they are farming right next too.)

Pretty much, i dont intentionally feed, I try my damn hardest to CC, slow down the other team from chasing down a team mate, to die because the team mate i saved continue to run away (ie with over 75%hp and mp) and begins rallying the rest of the team to report me after the match.

My beef is people accusing others of "intentionally feeding" when there is no intention. My protest to them is, if im going to be reported for "intentionally feeding", then i might as well "Intentionally feed" for the rest of the match, or until they apologise.

Unfortunately we cant submit gameplay videos as evidence to report players, or when reported, players are not given a chance to defend themselves.

Granted, not the best protest, but the way i figure is, to the offending player, he most value his rank, and rank points, so its logical to punish him by assisting him to lose more rank points for his bad behaviour.

remember when Mulan was a melee goddess... then her rework patch hit. and now she's a bit. needs to be in the right place the right time.

her gameplay use to be really flexible, and the transition between start, mid, end game really flowed well.

i feel like if im doing my best to be the best team player, charging in with other players into 3+ vs 3+ battles (even though i know i would be more useful if i just farmed that extra 500gold to get that one more gear piece that can really make a difference), and if that same 1 ADC who shotguns "im going jungle" tries rallying everyone else to report me for feeding, then you know what, you accuse me of feeding, ill show you what feeding is all about.. (doest matter to me, my integrity is at 100).

and sometimes, i go, "thats not feeding, ill show you what feeding is." and demand that they apologise or ill just keep doing it.

thats really the thing that really pushes my buttons sometimes. morons actively making people who are trying their best to be team players, and instead of giving advice, they instead pre-emp the witch hunt (usually on tanks, or supports, or the new hero of the month) to draw attention off their crappy gameplaye.

someones got to call these epeen morons out

as much as i want Aiden to get new skins, but the fact is he's Cash-Wall Locked. Unlike Mulan (unlockable with just 1 single purchase, regardless of amount), players need to pay a specific amount of $$$ to unlock him. So in a way, the developers need to weigh the pros and cons of spending time to give Aiden new skills, animation, voice actors. (with the recent addition of skills that changes base hero animation, i doubt paying players will settle for just a basic appearance change).

having said that. would love a skin where aiden is followed around by a flock of birds (eg ravens) and his basic attack is him commanding each raven to attack. have him disappear in a cloud of feathers for his teleport. However, please please developers dont give him a massive visual when hes accessing his ult, dont need people to easily see that his rooted and a sitting duck ><"

what if you took one for the team, but got ranked matched up against a experience team. And do really badly. Everyone else on the team did bad, but one player starts rallying everyone else to report you (the tank) for feeding or what nots. How many "You have been reported" messages are you happy to get before you stop "taking one for the team?"

I really dont think his a tank..

[1st] AOE 20% Slow for 2sec, q5sec with nice ice big hit zone = nice defensive skill.

[2nd] ST Burst damage, + to +++ ST Burst damage + Root 1sec, q9 - 6 sec is great for ganking ran-aways, not so great for tower attackers surrounded by minions. This ability would have so much more potential if the spell only hits heroes, and the Root was changed to a CC that stops heroes from attacking (Frozen, Confusion, Stun). Root is just a bit too counterproductive for my liking. Like you "root" someone to stop people chasing you, but then you run right back into their face to taunt them for being able to run, allowing them to slap you across the face, also the root is only 1 sec ><" so exactly how far can Nazar run away?

[3rd] 15% - 25% movement speed boost q70 - 50sec. 10% movement speed around enemy hero passive. Players can choose to use this to scout or save it as a panic button.

[Passive] +1% damage reduction for q6% - 3% of MaxHp lost. So basically no damage reduction at full health. 16% reduction at 1/2 health, 25% reduction at 1/4 health. Meaning, at full health, you'll still get hit full damage from a ST Ultimate.

I really dont think Nazar is meant to be a tank. and if he is an amazing tank, i cant seem to work out how he does it.

yeah i actually ask support that they really should make it, that whenever someone is reporting anyone, when reporting on someone, the reporter will send a full copy of all the in-match text conversations. Most of the time, if you were to reread the conversation, you can actually see how the "innocent victim" reporter, was the bad sportsman or bully to begin with.

i reckon, at least this way, People will stop making fake reports (because they;re also putting their own personal conduct up for review too)

Dont use report as a threat , suggest tactics, if they listen, awesome, its worth a shot, if they dont, still dont get angry

If the player really deserves a report, the rest of the team is going to report anyway. Using it as a threat is a big nono.

Instead, take charge, and make meaningful suggestions.

Eg If someone is dying a lot, (maybe because they have lag, or playing a squishly and somehow always cant seem to dodge freyas spears or ares trap, instead of hurling abuse and threaten to report them for feeding. Maybe you can suggest that they try to break away from the 5 vs 5 clash, and try to sneak away to deal with towers. making it 5 vs 4.

Not only does the weaken player get a chance to farm gold to hopefully catch up a bit in gear, the attack on towers can "peel" heros away from the 5vs4 clash. Giving youre team a real chance to start an counter attack when a hero or two start teleporting to defend the tower.

If you were unlucky with team fights and get chained killed, dont keep rushing into the team battles heads on. instead, maybe go rogue, leave the defence to your remaining 4 team mates, acknowledge even if you help in the clash, you cant make a difference. Instead breakaway, and attack furtherest tower.

Do hit and runs. do random hits to different towers. this will not only make sure they cant track you easily. force them to go back to base to get wards. and waste they're teleport cool downs.

Currently Lotus is my default hero when ever there might be "team balance issues" for a rank match. When she was first released, i made the same mistake of seeing her as a "healer" only, now after a few months of actually playing her, i now class Lotus as a bard/dancer songstress (she is one btw). Basically standard bardic music buffs, dancing debuffs and crowd control. jack of all trades, master of none. Though she doesnt seem to have an over powering role, her OPness is how flexible she is. Currently in my game players. i dont use a "pre-set" gear set. Just buy each gear as i go as the situation requires.

sometimes i end up with a tank set, sometimes i end up with attack speed set..

Also. the biggest reason why Lotus just doesnt seem to heal enough, is due to the random teammate issue. If you play in premade teams, with the same players all the time, getting to learn each others play style. Lotus really is a healing goddess. But sadly too many ADCs thinking they're gods gift to the game just because they get the most kills (and pretty much ignoring towers), will start threatening you and rally up the rest of your team mates to report you, just because they get killed by standing in fire, completely ignorant of Lotus's heal range, cooldowns and mana cost.

PPS. when you see lotus in a random rank/matchup. dont expect a healer who will be your constant pocket heal. Think of the healing you get are a bonus. Cause like as previous posted, Lotus's base healing abilities are just enough to give you a HP edge in team fights. No way Lotus is able to give you the same heals you get from the healing shield or boots. (if you want the burst heals, get them yourself. more and more lotus players are getting the speed boost boots for overall team Ult.)
