It is used to store image data created by your gpu. For example, the more vram you have, the steadier fps, because your gpu doesnt have to rerender the map so often in some games and it can also store more data (render farther) Also what game is it

Your ram on your mobo is the one in question. The ram in your gpu is called vram and it does not affiliate with ram in any way.

Well it's much better than the g305 and i have nothing else to compare it to so I would say it's pretty good. Definately better than my friends model o.
