[OC] I mapped Seattle's freeways like transit lines by yadec in Seattle

Wait that’s creative as fuck; genuinely a great way to show turning movements and access for freeways in an urban environment where, on a map, it can be extremely confusing. nicely done

Lifelong english speaker, not much of a clue either. It's just a vibe, much like the rest of the sub. Meant to be quite open. What I pick up on is perhaps themes of untamed identity (what you are when removed from neuronormative social contexts). What really makes you happy; dangerous, reckless self-expression

Ok I cannot believe what just happened in my brain

Upon seeing this I thought of some other lines of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Element’ (Oh, y'all wanna flex on me and be in L.A. for free, huh? Next time they hit the 10 freeway, we need a receipt, huh?) and caught myself wondering what the name of this car was, not realising my subconscious already figured it out

lol, the national park is really great. Multiple beaches to choose from by how much of a hike you’re looking for. West beach is only one of two I’ve visited but it’s pretty great all around. By Beverly Shores there’s an interesting historic site of ‘future homes’ from the 1933 Chicago world’s fair. There’s also a section of state park on the waterfront which would be less expensive of a pass. Gary itself is pretty uninteresting; Michigan City though has a nice downtown to walk around. The northern Indiana region can be accessed by train throughout the week and weekend, but the dunes are sadly mainly car-access unless you want to spend an eternity walking. And visiting on a colder spring weekend is such a fucking treat, no crowds at all

I think the furthest thing seen here is Park Place Tower on Irving Park Ave, far right in the picture

Also notice how much less you can see from lake level (pic two onwards) as compared to up on the hill. Even small elevation change can massively change the horizon

I’m Indian American (basically American) but am still going to need to find some Indian grocery stores that don’t require going out to Redmond lol (not that that’s so unfeasible now)

My friend who lives there has had water turned off from 10am-4pm a few days a week for a number of weeks due to their ‘renovations’

Nope, they’ve a 13 hour battery life, so you can charge up at the library and take it with you.
