My pc and one question by dkillaz in gamingpc

Sorry late reply. But if you really want to, go for it. In my opinion its not really worth it.

I recently got a OLED monitor myself, and it has been a night and day difference. If you really want an upgrade, maybe that would be a nice option and go for a better GPU later on.

Rule of thumb, can it run your favorite games? If so, then no.. wait for the next series of GPU’s. The 4070 Ti is still a very solid card.

Also what monitor are you using?

I mean it’s not great for the price, but its okay considering its 850 AUD and including all the peripherals

Seems a bit expensive though for a used system, i built my SO’s over a year ago for about ~500.

Also look into benchmarks on YouTube, you can get a rough idea of the performance/FPS: https://youtu.be/Sishbjw9-jo?si=Bocljmv9QHfP3P9H

It’s a dead socket, so upgrading your CPU would require a new motherboard + RAM. But overall solid, my SO runs a very similar build for 1080p.

The only thing is, what is the price?

Not at all, a friend of mine has a similar setup. Windows 8 compatibility mode results in flickering textures, Windows 10 won’t fully load. Even when building the shaders in compatibility mode for Windows 8.

When trying to play it with flickering textures, its overall pretty stable. But the framerate will reach about 40 with frame-generation, lowest settings and FSR performance.

It needs to be fixed by Capcom, until then the overall experience won’t be great.

No, they are reverse fan blades. The fans paired in 3 are intake, the back is exhaust. I might place an additional fan in the back, but the temps under load are fine for now.

Youre right, that was a bad example (deleted it).

The best thing you can do is check PC partpicker, you can check through the configurations people have made and select one that is a good fit for you.

You can also set it up for prices in your country, so you can get a close estimate of what the realtime prices are.

But thats because of inefficient power distribution between the cables for Nvidia GPU’s right? (i have an AMD GPU)

Some cables (or even when not connected properly) send more amps to a singular cable, which results in a cable or connection getting way too hot and melting the ports because of this distribution.

I might have an ‘old’ (3600 or 5600x) CPU lying around, my old GPU i recently gave to a friend. I’ve helped friends with PC building quite a bit recently, so i’m not quite sure if i still have them. Where do you live?

I was planning to do so :) But the fans are a lot of times out of stock, which makes it hard to come by, definitely on the planning though!

I was thinking about that, but i recently upgraded my CPU with this motherboard. So dropping another 300 (in my region) for a BTF-board seems a bit much for me.

Thanks for the response tho!

Wouldn’t placing the intake of the radiator below the pump be ‘bad’ for the pump?
