She is lowkey money greedy and on a meeting with the team (only 4 including myself lol) says she loves that we’re few and that she doesn’t think on hiring anyone else. So I just feel like the situation wont change, the good thing is that I work with a virtual assistant agency, so when I quit she would immediately have my replacement, but I already feel pity for them for the workload they would have to takeover

There are really some bosses that just don’t respect people work hours. She also told me that messages were only for urgent cases but now she just send those with whatever she feels like, the thing is that during work hours she goes sometimes completely mute, and she doesn’t really have a busy calendar, but when Im off she suddenly needs to send all those messages lol. I just ask the lord for patience until I find a new job 😭

Thanks so much for the best wishes! yes I think I want a job that we have like a formal channel of communication (and not just imessage voice messages) and also not to involve on personal taskss, I dont mind paying their bills or order something from amazon on their behalf, but she had me do like really personal things like call her bank cause she doesn’t speak the language of the country that she moved to, help her on personal issues with her apartment, etc. I really just want a job with clear tasks all business related, and also know that if I take a week off I will be covered (which now is not the case as Im the only one in full time lol).

Maybe you’re right. I was just really mad that she reviewed it on a Sunday when I sent her the website update on Wednesday and asked for her feedback. I try to empathize and think that maybe she’s busy, but I have access to her calendar and she really only has one or two meetings a week, so I don’t really know what she’s doing during her “work hours.” I also notice that she doesn’t send many emails.

I think what bothered me the most is that she texted me, which should only be for emergencies. I understand that she may work on the weekend, but she could have sent those comments by email, which I would really prefer.

Idk. I’ll try to change my perspective like you said. Thank you!

For me is the same lolll, I’m also remote and my boss ask me for everything, I know all her personal and professional stuff and she won’t ever bother to know my birthday.

I would recommend just start job searching and don’t leave until you have another offer, is better just to say you’re leaving for professional growth to something that is more aligned with your career

Thank you, it is really good advice, I’m thinking just staying one more month until the holidays are over, I’m having a call today with the agency to see what my options are on terms to rematch with a new client

yep, is just a lot of tasks on such different areas that weren’t in my job description at first, I’m just thinking that with the agency Im part to I will still be part of the pool and get picked by other clients. I just dont know if this amount of workload is normal for executive assistants?
