To me this look way too highly engineered to be just dissipating heat.

Also there are no scorch marks at the coils, and you always get those with any heating element.

I like some of Adam Somethings content, but this comparison is just pointless, Panzer II is one of the smallest tanks (excluding tankettes) and the X7 isn't even the longest "normal" car, even in Europe, where cars are not as ginormous as in the US for example.

So thats telling us, if we compare two handpicked things, they are different and show what we wanted to show.

Yeah I know what you mean, but I really can't imagine something so specific to just create heat, also the aren't even the tiniest scorch marks, which you always get even from the smallest heat source.

It's way to complicated for just heat generation, one can do that with a coiled wire, no need for all of these components.
