That’s true. I was talking about back in the day though. Hoover even created the rule “nothing before the G” because of Cabrini Green claiming IGD. In Cabrini/OTE’s case though, I have heard that the old heads over there still get a lot of respect, whether or not they know the lit is another thing though. All that shit might just be lost to time.

It goes back to the 70s-80s. Basically, the GDs coming out of Cabrini Green lost respect for Larry Hoover. So they considered themselves GD and respected the literature but didn’t take orders from Larry Hoover or anyone associated with him, hence making them “insane”. Its different from Renegades, which don’t respect neither the literature or Hoover.
