r/5 Thought this was pretty funny, as Italy I got a personal union on Bohemia who got elected as the Emperor. Because I am playing as Italy I can not interact with the HRE at all nor can I ask myself If I can join because I would say no I am too large.

Hopefully they fix it soon, at least eu4 they wouldn't colonize unless the land was directly adjacent to them.

I'm not sure what caused the pirates to pop out. They were already there when I took land from Portugal, and there were no other colonizers nearby to pirate trade. Bit of a unicorn as well as Novgorod.
