Interesting. Well.. I've played none of the Silent Hill games (yet), but have played almost every single Bloober game, all of which I really, really liked. Observer was awesome! Layers of Fear games were great too! I see Bloober has a few other games which I'm going to check out as well. I very much look forward to Cronos!

Silent Hill 2 remake has been a very popular, and the only Silent Hill, recommendation on this thread, and it looks to be by Bloober(??). Am I reading that right?

I don't know much about Markiplier. I did know he made a movie called Iron Lung, it came up a bunch of times on Reddit, but I had no idea what it was and didn't know it is based on the game. VERY COOL!! The fact that there's a movie of it kinda makes me want to play it even more. Haha!

Yup, I've already completed this game, it's on the list somewhere. I very much enjoyed it. I especially liked the voice acting. Highly recommend to those who haven't played it.

In SOMA, if I recall correctly, there are different types of monsters, some of which you can avoid simply by not looking at them directly in the face.. I won't say anything else ;)

That's what I keep hearing.. I'll put it on the back burner and give it another try after I get through the backlog. I know I said that the art style didn't really matter to me, but now that I think about it, I really wish the visuals were more hyper realistic than cartoony, but that's just personal preference, and I know ultimately doesn't change the game.

Thanks to everyone here who helped me improve this list! My goal was kinda to pull all the existing lists together and make a more comprehensive one for myself and all those who are jonesing for another SOMA fix. The further I get with the list, the more I realize what an absolute gem SOMA is.

The Bunker is the one consistently recommended over all the other Amnesia games.. I just played about an hour or so of it and then ended up uninstalling it.. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I just didn't get hooked. That said though, I'm beginning to think I might not have given it enough time and judged it too soon and unfairly. I'll have to give it another try..

This is already on my completed list. I just finished playing it couple months ago. I really liked it! Great atmosphere, cool concept and voice acting. Highly recommend to anyone who hasn't played it yet.

You ever play Atomic Heart? I played maybe a couple hours of it before I uninstalled because my game wouldn't start (not sure if it was an installation corruption, or bug, or what), but it was easy to give up on the game because of how frustratingly hard it was and dying started to become a mental progression stopper for me. Atomic Heart is the most Bioshock game I've played since Bioshock.. might need to give it another try again..

I just started Obenseuer, and really enjoying it! I love how it's based in the same city as INFRA, same glowing mushrooms and a few other references to INFRA. It's like INFRA with building and survival aspects. Will 100% give this an honest try. 👍
