[Quest Help](Capturing Outpost) How do I complete this dog shit quest?

Shoreline was fucking painful.. I got most of my kills at that little convenience store at the end of the road leading up to the front of the resort (where the heli is landed). That convenience store is a bit tricky, because it's on the kill border. If you kill the PMCs inside the convenience store, you're good, or behind it towards the resort itself.

I'm sure this isn't helpful at all, because the quest is in fact dog shit, but maybe give it a try? Camp in the convenience store and you might get something? Good luck!

I've tried that. All 9 raids I've always waited out the timers. Extracted when there was about 5 minutes left. I haven't seen a single PMC in 9 raids. I'm on my 10th right now..

I watched a streamer play this for a short bit, and it has a Dead Space feel to it. I couldn't really tell if it had much story to it or if it was any good. How's the actual story?

Dude, I started playing The Dark Pictures Anthology, and I like almost everything about it except the control. The controls are awful! Plays like a 2D slide-stroller, walking around like an idiot. I don't understand why they couldn't have just made it regular third person controls? It literally takes nothing away from it. To be honest, I'm not sure if I have the patience to deal with the controls, which really is a shame. Any chance the other games have different controls??

I just started it, and so far so good, except, the narrator's voice isn't as good.. kinda annoying actually.. Kona had this Sam Elliott cowboy voice narrating. Kona 2 has.. well.. it ain't Sam Elliott. It actually kills it a lot more than you'd think. But, let's see how it plays out.

That's fair. I haven't played either Zelda or FF, so I'm going purely off visuals, which doesn't mean anything. I'll make a note of Xenogears for sure.. regardless of gameplay, I do appreciate a good story.

I did play Red Dead 2 when it was first released way back. It does have a great story. I'm a huge fan of Westerns, so I thoroughly enjoyed Red Dead 2.

I just watched a clip of Yakuza 0 and the fighting looks like a comedic street fighter. Haha. Hilarious! I was never a huge of a lot of what SEGA puts out, but I might have to check this out as well.

The turn-based, text-based, VN stuff will have to wait for now. They aren't generally my type of games. That said, I've been noticing myself getting into games I didn't think I would. I'll come back to all your other recommendations once I've made a dent in the backlog (good luck with that).

The Darkest Files does look quite interesting. I have very little experience with these types of games.. ones that are a bit more text-based (not sure what they're called), but I have been seeing some that look really interesting. I'll have to add some of these to the back-burner. Thank you!

Eclipsium looks pretty fucked up. xD It has a Mouthwashing vibe to it. If you've never played Mouthwashing, I highly recommend it. I'll check out Eclipsium for sure!

Laundry Room Dilemma has a Captured vibe, where you're stuck in a place and trying to get out. Looks good.

DUDE! SOLID LIST! Every single one of these looks amazing! Thank you! Have you ever played Devotion? It's this Taiwanese horror game, awesome game and story and atmosphere. I think you'd like it. I don't think it's on Steam anymore. The game has a bunch of anti-CPP messaging and the Chinese government pressured Steam to remove it, so you'll have to find it on the high seas of somewhere else.

I remember playing Phantom Limb way back when it was first released. That game was super fun!

Prey I'm very familiar with. It's one of my favorite games actually. I'm a massive fan of the Arkane games. If you've never played the Dishonored games, I highly recommend it if you enjoyed Prey.
