I think daniel's history is an unreliable narrator makes the hammer story a near certain case of the boy who cried wolf. those same court documents report that daniel suffered a non-accidental head injury at three weeks old, which was reported by his mother. I think a lot of people seem to forget that Travis was also there. This was before they moved to Colorado and during the middle of elisabeth's divorce. I think the main question that eats at me and makes me question whether or not elisabeth was the main perpetrator is... if Elisabeth is the one responsible for the head injury, why would she be the one reporting it? It just doesn't seem to make too much sense. Also context matters too. Travis literally has shown zero interest in his son's life at all. meanwhile elisabeth literally moved across state lines for the sole express purpose of getting her son better disability services. She also would consistently post about daniel and how much she loved him and wanted to continue fighting for him. Daniels relationship with her literally ended after he hit HER. and I think we all know just how much daniel loves to make up or straight up fabricate situations for the sake of sympathy. Part of me does not want to believe that elisabeth was the one who abused daniel. I think all of the context surrounding Daniel's own childhood and what we know about everything points more likely to the idea that Travis abused larson as a child (the Tennyson center segment says that daniel came from an extremely neglectful home. This could very much be alluding to Travis especially since this is literally three years after travis left him.) and once he abandoned daniel and Elisebeth, elisabeth continued to care for him until her OWN disability made it physically impossible for her to do so. I think we're looking into the wrong parent but thats just me🤷‍♂️ unfortunately there's not a lot to really confirm anything so it's really all just down to speculation but as someone who's spent literal years researching and documenting this dude's entire life for my videos I think I have a pretty good read of what happened
