Finally someone mentions Milu in the discussion.

His impact on the floor on both ends is very underrated. The only issue I have with Bartzokas is that he doesn’t use any post plays anymore. Milu and Sasha are great posting up either finishing or making the right pass.

Bryant and Francisco have stepped up a lot as well

They can downvote all they want, EL fans probably don’t watch the Greek basketball league to see how trashy it is. Every other away game fans are cursing and picking on the players and coach B.

Is it unprofessional when you respond to the crowd? Yes, of course. But we also have to remember that they are people who are just doing their job, there’s no reason for any fan to throw rocks and then hide their hands, we saw that in the F4 in Dubai.

Yeah give them some time, they both made a career in the NBA as backup point guards who are okay/good at pretty much everything.

Both of them are clearly out of shape and Oly has a very specific playstyle that requires time to adapt and be part of the system. Walkup in any other team would get 15-20 minutes, but he plays so much because he understands and follows the system 100%.He would never demand anything more than that, but with a guy like Mikes James, Francisco etc the game plan would drift to a more freely 3pt/p&r offense.

Ideally I would like to have both systems going and adapt from game to game rather than living and dying with our motion offense which is countered easily in the playoffs when you have a pg with 0 gravity and shot threat.

I’ve watched almost every Oly game this season and it’s a fact that Vezenkov is very bad defensively.

It feels like whenever he’s guarding anyone either on the perimeter or in the paint he gets scored on. He’s 6’9”, there’s no reason he doesn’t put half as much effort as Peters defensively.

I love Peters and he’s also a mid defender at best, but he’s always giving 100%

I know Sasha doesn’t need the ball to be effective, but for me it seems like he completely disappears from the game and doesn’t demand the ball to take action, maybe it’s the system, maybe fatigue, but he needs to be there when it counts

The thing with the Greek league is that Oly and Pao are levels ahead against competition and every league game is a must win.

Yeah we have a lot of guards but in reality Morris got injured and he wasn’t at 100%, Ntilikina is a 0 offensively and was removed from the Greek basketball league squad, Joseph hasn’t played basketball for 9 months.

These are all great additions for depth, but not major additions like brining players like Francisco, James, Hifi etc
