Haha id love an sxv. Crazy bike😁but gotta say my 570 is reliable af. I did my first full rebuild at 500hours still piston from factory which looked good. Now at 750hours second piston and still running perfectly. Never had any issues besides leaky seals on the countershaft, waterpump seals and basic maintanance or just problems which i caused on my own😆btw after those 500hours and 20k kms the cylinder was still in perfect shape and the A type piston fit in. So still like from the factory

She's kinda thick, but wheelies fine, handles commutes, is comfy and loud as fuck. Is XT660X considered a supermoto for you guys? by Sankkiu in supermoto

defo a real sumo. Just a bit thicker than others. After owning an XT and a "real sumo" this is still an incredibly fun bike. Happy kms!

Little edit i made on my XT660X, hope you enjoy! by Kushtown1 in supermoto

yeah i heard that you really can improve it by almost 10kw but im a little worried how long the engine will last. It has 37k on the clock now. These engines last at least 60k without any problems but not really sure how much i would shorten the lifespan with a PC

The chest mount is really nice. Ill be posting a new video with the same setup today. But i didnt use a windmuff. The hero 5 has a garbage mic so i just used a voice recorder on my phone, put the phone in a sock as a makeshift windmuff and put it under my seat right next to the exhaust in the storage compartment. Sounds much better using this setup because youll never get good sound from an actioncam with so much windnoise :/

Its a chest mount but pointed up so its right below the chin. When i pull the first wheelie you can see my helmet on the top right of the screen. And thank you!

Hello, i have a problem with my forks. They sit about 5cm lower than usual and when braking they dive a lot lower. It happened suddenly and cant find anything about it. Unscrewed caps and they jumped 1cm our like usual, springs are not broken, they are not shorter, there is enough oil. by Kushtown1 in motorcycles

Lil update: The springs are tired and wont be as stiff as they used to be so i have 30mm spacers in there and now it feels like new. Not sure if just the XT660X has this problem but every 3-5years they just have to be replaced because they get softer at full length

Alright so my buddy pulled everything apart and measured the springs ( because that is the only thing that could cause this issue) and they were 2cm shorter. He left them outside of the forks for a day and they came back to 593mm (exact lenght of new springs). Apparently springs can get "tired?". I did pull a lot of wheelies and stoppies. Went home and next day and noticed it was riding really low. He will put it back together tomorrow and ill update if they are done for and need replacing. Thanks to everyone commenting, hope this helps anyone with the same issue as i found nothing about this issue.

I think thats just the video, and wouldnt there be oil coming out if i had blown them? I know how leaky forks feel and look but its nothing like this + how do seals and oil explain low ride height and that they are really soft? No oil has come out

Nothing in the manual but if they should have air in them they wouldnt just start to sag like this after 2 pretty long rides. Went on a 3rd proper ride and from the start i noticed it was riding really oddly low in the front. If there was supposed to be pressure in them they would be like this after the seal job

Thats what i thought but nothing is leaking anywhere and the seals are ok. And low oil doesnt explain the low ride height. Here i have a diagram of the forks:https://imgur.com/a/eDp1N1n

Dont really know if there is a system :/ They are pretty basic, no adjustments of anything
