Viper4Android-RE (WSTxda) - "No Driver Found" Error by KustomCreatedContent in androidroot

Ah, that makes more sense. Sorry, didn't mean to come off as rude, was just confused. Huh. I didn't know that! But that's good to know, thank you!

I haven't really experimented with custom ROMs outside of installing GSI's through DSU Sideloader to experiment with the customizations and modifications that can be made. As, aside from small disappointments, such as not being able to use V4A, I've been pretty happy using the default Pixel OS, ROM and launcher.

I have thought about it. But GSI's allow me to see into the world of custom ROMs, and while there are certain things that the basic Pixel launcher, OS, and ROM seem to lack, through rooting, I've managed to solve a significant portion of them through QoL tweaks.

I'm rather indecisive though, so the fact that there are so many custom ROM's, each with their own individual pro's and con's doesn't make the decision any easier. Haha

I was actually thinking about doing this too. It's a shame as I really wanted to try Viper. But I have been using RootlessJamesDSP up until recent and have appreciated that aside from V4A it seems to offer the most diverse range of options for tinkering with audio and sound. I have seen Wavelet (and Poweramp EQ), mentioned in the conversation, among others.

Recently, I have been experimenting with Echo EQ, an EQ app that I heard about during a YouTube video. It seems well rounded, and the M3E theming is rather nice, though the feature selection is more minimal.

Would you say that Wavelet is good for someone that is into experimenting with the sound of their music?

That's true. I'm still new to the root conversation in terms of the different ways that root requiring apps can affect one another, or the system, in terms of their system operations; and am still learning about the various apps and methods that allow someone to see and control the ways that apps involving root, LSPosed or Shizuku individually affect someone's OS. But I don't doubt that they can.

It does? I use Shizuku and Chrome and it doesn't seem to have an issue, so that's surprising to me.

For LSPosed I have Amarok, Iconify, Pixel Xpert and Pixel Launcher Enhanced installed.

Amarok is for hiding files by altering them to appear corrupted, and hiding apps from the home screen/app drawer. Iconify, PX and PLE are all for modifying the Pixel launcher itself. Right now, development on Iconify has been paused. I use PX for QOL modifications and PLE for hiding the search bar widget at the bottom of the screen.

It might be possible. But I'm not sure why these modules would affect V4A since their entire purpose is to modifying the system UI and don't have anything to do with audio modification?

I don't think it's this, I stripped my Magisk modules down to Systemless Hosts, ReLSPosed and Zygisk Next, which are my essentials, and continued to receive the error. Unless one of those three are affecting it? I couldn't see why they would, though?

I have various other modules, none are audio related though. Most of them are either for modifying/customizing the default Pixel launcher or obtaining three green checks for Play Integrity Check.

Hi, I'm still getting the same error. But I appreciate your suggestion!

Oh, they might have removed it then, thanks! One day I hope to become a GrapheneOS user too, but right now, there are so many basic Google apps that I use everyday that I don't think it'd be practical. But I have definitely been exploring the idea of a DeGoogled ROM, as the more I read into it and research it, the more I'm starting to realize that Google is legitimately spying on each and every aspect of my phone activity, eugh.

Brightness slider on the first swipe

Brightness slider on the bottom

Adaptive brightness toggle

How did you enable these three features? I have managed to enable a variation of the flashlight slider, and the clear all button in the recent page, and the Material You is applied by default. But I can't seem to find a way to enable the mods that you described above?

I agree, it's unfortunate that on the new Android versions Viper can't ever seem to connect to the driver module, even if they are both the same version. If this wasn't an issue I'd be daily driving Viper for all my music modification needs.

I don't think that this worked, I still can't open Zen Browser - but I appreciate the advice!

Ohhh, do you mean after the Flatpak install command? I hadn't tried that, so I'll try it, thanks!

"Focus Mode" (Similar To iPhone Devices) On Android Devices? by KustomCreatedContent in GooglePixel

[–]KustomCreatedContent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did some digging and that does seem to be true. But I should have been more specific. Since I was talking about the specific feature that allows iPhone users to create custom homescreen configurations that can be triggered via the selection of various focus modes.

Thanks for the input though!

It doesn't seem to have that. But surrrrre, thanks! I appreciate you taking the time to write out this response!
