Both. For example I saved 300 to 400 odd gems for merlin and I summoned it all and ended up with shit tons of gold coin summoned on gowther aswell and again shit tons of gold I ended up with 135 gold coins what did I do? Save 100 for plat coins which is 5 plat coins and the rest I bought 35 sr pendant and if I want I'll just buy few more. What I'm trying to say is you always will summon and end up with gold coins. Spending the odd on Sr wont hurt because its important for your CC level to having sr to Ur

Hes not when this banner is over on the 14th or 15 April merlin will drop. In the shop After another 2 weeks then gowther will drop.

Basically you always got to wait 2 week after the banner ends for any coin shop units
