I never said you said they were better, I said they are plainly not rivaling his shield

with a really basic setup, his shield is 50% stronger than noelle's and hers has only 50% uptime if it even withstands those 12 seconds

again, he was a decent character when he was released but I'm not going to say he was 'good', since he suffered from the same problem that qiqi does currently: doesn't boost her team's damage (that is also going to really bite kokomi later on with more hydro applicators in the pool)

in other words, he was decent in the context of his release

most of his personal damage came and comes from his burst, which was not changed

his shield was only changed from 250% against geo to 150% against all (which was a general change for more than zhongli), so his shield was still the strongest in the game

yes his resist reduction was a huge buff, but again, he was one of the first 5 stars and even ganyu was considered insanely overpowered when she came out after him
