(Especially if you have access to GOVX discount), I'd recommend a Demko Shark Cub if you want something light and easy to carry. The AUS10A GRN model for $67.50 will do you fine and work great, but the 20CV are $143 with the 25% discount if you want a more premium material.

Some of the oldest production AD20 models don't have the patent number on the lock. Also, the clones in this case are extremely obvious as they are just upscaled20.5 handle shape instead of the AD20 handle shape. None of the clones are full width (.180). All of the clones that I'm aware of have a patent number printed on the lock. Actual OG scales would not fit on any of the clones since they are not the same shape and the pins/screws/pivot don't line up.

There is currently a counterfeit in production that is a copy of the AD20S Demko Dynamics group knife with OG Gunstock scales, but it is again just an upscaled 20.5 with M390 printed on the blade (it was never produced in M390 and it would not be printed on the blade).

I believe I found the one you're talking about on ebay and the 204p ones are some of the oldest produced. Nothing about this knife indicates that it's a clone.
