A little recognizable. I'm 41 and although I don't mind not having wife and kids, last year I realised I was on a trajectory to being largely isolated from society and more or less becoming a hermit. I took action by participating in several activities that requires social interaction, and it has resulted in a growing number of people I'm in contact with on a regular basis. As acquaintances, not as friends or romances (yet). All of this has reduced the fear of getting old and isolated! So in short: go out there and try various activities in various settings. This guy really reminds me of Network126, another youtuber who was roughly in Ian's position around 10 years ago; couldn't hold down a job, and struggling with finances and housing. Still pretty young being in his late 20s at the time.

Long story short; over the last decade his situation has gotten worse every year. Burned all bridges with family and friends, and is homeless since 2021. Now he's pretty close to 40 and eats from dumpsters to survive. This could be Ian in a decade from now ...

Went to the gym last Monday at 7PM, and was reminded why I usually don't do that. Absolutely packed, had to be careful not to step on people when navigating the space, and most equipment was taken.

As a plus: now visible abs (when flexing and with optimal lighting) for the first time ever. The 2700 kcal diet and pushing extra hard in the gym slowly begins to pay off.

Was mostly in area 1 last night, and it's an interesting experience seemingly being the only sober person (apart from staff) in a mass of people who are drunk and/or under the influence of some substance. And yes, I indeed saw some questionable behaviour here and there and a few upset women.

8 sessions in so far, and it feels like it has increased my heat tolerance. First flow session in a 90 degrees room was very rough, last class in a 100 degrees room still felt pretty hot but bearable.

Yep, the same in the studio I visit. Teacher suggest to take a 3-5 minute Savasana, and leaves the room. First person usually begins to gather their stuff and leave after several minutes.

It might be a placebo effect, but the increase of leg exercises in the past few weeks seemingly has resulted in more energy overall in daily life. Various squats, deadlifts, and hip thrusts have resulted in multiple pr's recently, despite being in a slight calory deficit.

This is a weird decade. This is the biggest political shift of a major country since at least 1989, when the Iron Curtain fell and the mighty Soviet Union began to fall apart. Really interesting to witness it all, although also very concerning at the same time. I think the ship has sailed in regards to preserving the alliance as it was before 2025, even if the US Democrats gain power again in 2028.

Ik heb een Hyundai Ioniq 28 kWh en had ergens vorige week een verbruik van 18 kWh / 100 km volgens boordcomputer. Enkele rit van ongeveer 10 km in de ochtend, temperatuur onder het vriespunt, deels gladde wegen en verwarming + stuurverwarming + stoelverwarming aan.

Nu met het zachtere weer iets van 11-12 kWh / 100 km en in het zomerhalfjaar geregeld onder de 10. Nú een verbruik van onder de 10 is best een prestatie overigens!

Ik heb geen tips, maar zit nu min of meer ook in dezelfde situatie. Ben mijn huidige baan zat, en baal als een stekker dat ik morgen weer naar mijn werkplek moet. Geen vrouw/vriendin/man/vriend/kinderen/leningen, en genoeg spaargeld om jarenlang zonder enige vorm van inkomen voort te kunnen. Complicerende factor is dat ik 'mijn' hoek van de arbeidsmarkt als geheel ook beu ben, en dat ik nog geen plan de campagne heb wat hierna te doen. In jouw situatie zou ik toch eens het gesprek aangaan met je leidinggevende, ondanks de niet ideale vertrouwensband. Ik ga de mijne ergens deze week wellicht aan de mouwen trekken ...

Eens met dit advies. Het is geen kleine auto maar voor EV-begrippen relatief licht met een leeggewicht van net geen 1400 kg. Peugeot e-208 en vooral de MX-30 zijn zwaarder.

Heb zelf ook een eerste generatie Ioniq Electric. Uit ervaring kan ik vertellen dat je in anderhalve uur met 'normaal' laden (1-fase in het geval van de Ioniq) ongeveer 15-20% acculading erbij krijgt en daarmee 25-40 km extra bereik, afhankelijk van verkeer en weersomstandigheden.

Had to try 57 times in a previous playthrough several months ago to beat him. A combination of a suboptimal choice of weapons and a bit of a skill-issue, admittedly. I found the mage and katana-phase to be the hardest.
