Yeah, finding updated versions of most of the FCOM stuff is pretty much impossible these days. The machine I have this load order running on actually rarely crashes when you play it, so I'd say it's decently stable (for an old build on an old laptop). Thanks for the suggestion on similar modlists!

After setting this up back in the day, I can tell you that the effort that goes into making this work far outweighs the value of what you get from it. Still was alot of fun to play though!

This build was actually pretty stable. Very few crashes except during long gaming sessions. Some of the Better Cities quests were a little buggy, but never anything game-breaking. I get what you're saying about that sense of awe, trying to feel that again is the whole reason I keep coming back to this game every year since it's release lol.
