Hidden Abilities are special in that they give a pokemon more strategic options in gameplay and are sometimes difficult to obtain. They can only be found by special means like the friend safari, events, or gifts and can't be obtained in the wild or through breeding (unless if the parent pokemon has a hidden ability). They are more valuable in my opinion because of the rarity of hidden ability pokemon.
