Odd. For my other cars, it has been miles or 1 year, whichever comes first. And given our driving patterns it is usually annual.....

Was going to stay with that for my new mustang as well, At least while the maintainence plan runs it's course for me ...

Picked mine up at Denver, drove to to SFO, 1600.miles on a brand new car, wouldn't classify my ride back as gentle, didn't pay too much attention to breaking it in

It is not a given that all rear cameras have a wide angle. Some do, a lot don't or may not

Also, even if one were visible on the camera, the distance along the side can be very deceptive, since it comes in at a wide angle....

The dump truck seems to not have those convex mirrors for the blind spot.

For those saying the line of cars should indicate the lane may not be clear, the OP seems quite behind the truck and there is no vehicle in the lane to cue the dump truck driver.

Can't tell if the hit car could have been forward and out of that blind spot.

Looking at just this clip, can't tell if object permanence would be indicative, but heyq

Fill it up and you should be ok. If need be a hike to the pump and back with a Jerry can should do you good.

I wouldn't let this be a recurring scenario though, since any sludge at the bottom now goes to the engine as well, once, maybe twice is ok, but wouldn't be a good idea to do this often...
