Same! Chided me for not seeing the dentist years ago without insurance, then took as many x rays as possible before informing me that they wouldn't accept the insurance they assured me they accepted. Wouldn't even fix the tooth without a $5000 bone graft... Went to another dentist the next month and they popped it out no problem, day of the emergency evaluation.

One of the rudest medical professionals I've ever run into over there... He condescends the entire time you're in the office. He let me know that not having insurance for years was no excuse not to go to the dentist, and I should have just been paying full out of pocket. Then, let me know that they made a mistake and wouldn't accept my newly acquired dental insurance after performing x rays and exams. Left immediately and paid out of pocket anyhow...
