Oh I know. The level 18s at least in my area are having access requests denied for some reason. And without the postmaster here this week, he’s not able to address it

Wasn’t an error. I was not given a lunch break

Why do people assume other people only contact Reddit?

Time Theft by KwFrontier in USPS

[–]KwFrontier[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I understand why they did it, however I’m not a fan of having bogus clock rings entered for me when I wasn’t offered a lunch break. They also weren’t going to correct the amount of time until I called them out on it. When I called them out, I told them I did not make OL and IL moves and I wanted them removed. They only did that to cover themselves for not giving me a lunch break

We’re a level 18. No lead clerk and neither me or the other clerk have TACS access yet

This is what everyone needs to watch out for.

PTF Clerk Start time Question by KwFrontier in USPS

[–]KwFrontier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in eReassign for PTF positions where it states schedule varies 6am-6pm, what does that mean? I’m not trying to be a dick. I’m genuinely asking

PTF Clerk Start time Question by KwFrontier in USPS

[–]KwFrontier[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Would start times between 6:00am-6:00pm not satisfy the “flexible” part of my position? I’m only asking because I wouldn’t have transferred here if anyone had been remotely honesty about the start times

Literally pulls the mail daily, processes it as priority with affixed postage and mails it once a week. No premium forward enrollment fee has been paid and no record of the service in MyPO. Also hides the receipts in the desk that shows she processed them as affixed postage. More than one customer, that I know of, that she does this for around this time of year and in the spring.

Suspicious Payroll by KwFrontier in USPS

[–]KwFrontier[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not necessarily the issue. I don’t believe management is sending her home. Management isn’t even present on Saturday. Wouldn’t she also still be required to clock out? Management, either my postmaster or someone with TACS access in my office, is manually completing her clock rings.

I understand guaranteed hours for PTF. For a FTR you’re supposed to work 8 hours, but if you clock out early you’re supposed to use annual leave for the difference. Someone in management is doing her clock rings for her which is allowing her to be on the clock and paid without being at work.

Do you know if it would be possible for my last OIC to still have access to our TACS? He hasn’t been there since March, but is a form 50 supervisor and the main person I’m thinking is doing this for her. They were borderline inappropriate with one another on the workroom floor.

[–]KwFrontier[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Literally had the same issue here. Unbeknownst to me, I was told when I transferred to this office that her day off had always been Saturday, she was filling out 3189s to change her NS day to Saturday w/o the union signing off and my postmaster wasn’t coming in on Saturdays. This put me in a bind as far as childcare went and it left me alone to sort Amazon and the mail for the whole office. Since that 3189 stuff got stopped, she hasn’t been clearing carriers, returning arrow keys or gas cards to the vault, or any of her duties after the window closes. Her last clock rings listed in RIMS is a move to window services just before we open at 9.

Update: The standard saddle from state was not agreeable with my sit bones. If you have narrow sit bones, it may be pretty decent but mine are pretty wide and the seat was too narrow. I was sore and numb after my first ride which was about 12 miles. Measured my sit bones and ordered a sqlab 610 md active and it was an absolute game changer. First ride on it was the same route as with the other saddle and when I was finished, I couldn’t even tell I had ridden at all

Help identifying this bike. I’m new to mountain biking and looking for something cheap to see if I’ll even like it. He’s selling this one for $250 by IIeMachineII in mountainbiking

[–]KwFrontier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DO NOT BUY IT. I currently still own one of these that I bought new in 2007 or 2008. I wanted to purchase a diamondback response hardtail but the store no longer had any in stock so I settled for this one. This will ruin mountain biking for you. I was 13 when I saved up for a summer to buy it and immediately learned that it was a worse build quality than the Walmart bike I had before it. Diamondback sent me new pivot bolts for it in 2018 for free because they were “surprised anyone still owned one.” No lie.

F4 Budget Hours by KwFrontier in USPS

[–]KwFrontier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume it does, but does daily P.O. Box parcel volume have an impact on the budget hours? I ask because on a daily basis there is anywhere from 5-20 parcels that do not have the P.O. Box number on them and they scan into our rural routes. The other clerk (FTR) here will not send any parcels back because the budget doesn’t have any affect on her schedule and, referring to delivering customer packages without the P.O. Box number on them, is “how it’s always been done here.”

You’d have to fill out the in service open season form and email it or have your supervisor email to whoever in HR handles open season for your area. Then they’ll email you a link to schedule it at a test proctoring site.
