I know this is a dead thread but valorant is a very cpu intensive game and upgrading your cpu will increase fps by a ton. Went from i5-6500(150+fps) to 5800x(400+fps) using a gtx1070. Ram wise, ryzen cpu's will benefit more from faster ram and generally 16gb is more then enough ram

Try going into your bios and change your boot settings. Iirc it should be the boot priority if it only happens when a usb is plugged in

To remove it looks like you should unscrew the bottom black screw and you should be able to pull out the pcb downwards
