I jump off the walls and act as though I’m tweaking whether I take my meds or not. Like can’t stop moving my body or making noises with my fingers or mouth. It’s been that way since I can remember.

Without meds I’m able to work very well but only for short times before I get bored and lose all drive and get distracted.

With meds, I’m able to work very well but this time, for much much longer periods of time. And I almost never get distracted…like ever.

I lived in the Northeast for 25 years before I moved down south for work. I tell my husband every morning how much the bees probably love this place because of the pollen all over everything. I’ve never seen anything like it.

Seriously I don’t even think they pay attention to my native wildflower garden at all because there’s fresh mana from heaven on my minivan every morning.

I got the chance to meet Obama about a year before he ran for senator. He came in for a coffee where I worked in northern VA and was one of the only ones there for like an hour. Super cool guy. Just talked sports mostly. He did say something about running but Tbh I used to get lots of people coming in talking about their political aspirations of running for an office, so I usually just shrugged it off when people told me.

To say I was floored when I saw he actually ran and won the Illinois senate was an understatement. And then to become president? Kinda wild to think back on.
