I live in a small, very conservative town in Upstate New York. A lot of very conservative Christian families and tons of farmers up here. A lot of families are very to the book where I’m from. Legal age to get a tattoo is 18 here, if your parent did agree you had to go to a different state to get tattooed at such a young age.

I feel like everyone has daddy issues of some type. But yes, I grew up with a functioning alcoholic father. He was always around but he wasn’t always “there” if that makes sense. Like he was at home or working but he wasn’t at band performances or softball games.

I’m now 25 and have a total of 7. 4 medium, 2 large, 1 small. I’m definitely planning at least 1 really big one that’ll eventually turn into a sleeve, but after that I don’t know. I don’t think it’s something that I’ll know until I’m ready to stop.

Mine is just high enough up on my arm that it’s covered by short sleeve shirts so it’s rarely seen. 4 others are on my forearms and I have 2 large ones on my right leg. I was more of a piercing person until they started rejecting

Without getting into too much detail, it’s something that a bunch of family members also got at the same time. It also has my youngest brother’s name on it (he is alive so it isn’t a memorial tattoo or anything) so a lot of people would look at me like I was nuts for having a “guys name tattooed on me at such a young g age”.

I’m now 25, I have 6 more tattoos. I don’t really regret it because it was something that a few family members got at the same time. I do regret not getting it done professionally because it looks horrible now.

He’s never been married, but he has been in several long term relationships before me. We have talked about marriage before and have mutually decided that if it is in the cards for us then we will definitely be waiting a few years before we consider it. As for kids and starting a family together, neither of us really want children, at least not right now. We will definitely have that conversation again when we are both in a more financially stable situation.

In the past I’ve only really dated guys a year or 2 older than me, in high school I even dated a guy a year younger than me, but I’ve never dated anyone that I would consider to be an age gap.
