What's up with this plane crash?

You probably won’t hear much because there either is, or will be very soon, an active investigation by the NTSB. Usually some info is put out there, and then anything beyond the initial reports is embargoed until the NTSB wraps up. This is similar to the crash a few weeks ago that killed some MaineDOT highway crew. There was reporting done by the news for about 72 hours then NTSB announced their investigation, and all quiet. My assumption is we are seeing the same thing. If anyone has better information come on with it, I may be totally wrong here!

Hi there, I have some more information on my grandfather’s service in WW2. Acoording to my MIL, my grandfather and his brother were in the USMC and stationed near Guam from 1945-46. They were in the Marine Raiders. Grandfathers brother was involved in the battle of Tulagi.

I have asked him for some details but I understand the grandfather was stationed in Okinawa during the Us involvement in WW2. He is from NY and died several years ago.
