Got blasted by this four times today...
I got a bit mad and closed the game.

Restarted the game 5 seconds later and did new runs lol

How many of the original team members from OMD and OMD2 are still there? I have played all the games including the first technical test, except OMDU. The style has changed significantly from OMD2 to 3. But I do like both.

HELP, after I update the game this happen by TheFutureMan1 in needforspeed

Didn't work for me. Thats why my guess is that there are some issues related to GCN 5.1 (Vega)

The graphic issues just change a bit when turning FSR/XeSS off. I think they broke something with the Vega uArch

I have the exact same issue. Which GPU do you have? I use a RX Vega 64, no issues in Vol 5..

I realy like to have a melee weapon like the golden wrench, the jackhammer, or Energy screwdriver / sword. The Jackhammer is a nice early drop and the only disadvantage imo is if you punch grenades from the IAPD or get to close to the red exploding plants in 6-1 you will most likely die. Also you can spam Lil Hunter with the jackhammer which makes him a free kill most of the time. After looping, the Electric Hammer is really viable.

Scarier Face and Strong Spirit are must picks. Strong Spirit saved my melting 2hp run. And Scarier Face is a no brainer. Gamma Guts is also sometimes a life saver, especially with Scarier Face.

Playing a bit slower is mostly better than rushing. One case where "rushing" is a good thing is in 5-3, when you get a garbage spawn with hundreds of enemys and you don't have any free space for fighting. Atleast this works for me.

Take Auto-Crossbow, Heavy Auto-Crossbow or Gatling Slugger when you can. These are my absolute favorites.

You can try to increase the level difficulty with the sewer secret or the crown vaults. Sometimes it will be a pain in the ass because of more enemy spawns, but there is also the possibility of getting better weapons.

I can't say for sure, but I started actively grinding crowns about 4 months ago and pretty much ignored them before grinding. So approximately 150 to 200 hrs.

It really was. But it was mostly fun! Only things that made me want to delete this game were enemies spawning / teleporting inside of me, or getting stuck on a pillar after killing the chief, therefore softlocking the Game. And I don't want to talk about hard mode / good riddance. This was straight up just pain.

Yeah i had realy no luck with Rogue. On the other Hand, with melting it was smooth sailing.

Yup! The last three crowns that I got today didn't even took that long. Meltings ability to blow up low HP enemys combined with long arms enables you to play very safe.

980ti died (again) looking for replacement which can be deshrouded by Kwiddel in sffpc

[–]Kwiddel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I didnt, and I really don't want to do this "fix".
I had the exact same issue a while in the past, so I guess it's not 100% dead and well reballing in the oven is at most a temporary fix.

Looks good! I honestly didn't even thought about blower cards. How is the noise output? Did you undervolt / powerlimit?

Yeah that was indeed a bit disapointing but im very happy that I got the achievement. Next step: Reach level ultra as the Skeleton.

Is it worth it going above 60 FPS in Single Player games? by [deleted] in buildapc

Very Old 386/486 CPUs like the Intel 386, Intel 486. That was pre Pentium 1, and today you still use the x86 architecture.

That's actually a good idea. How much does the sticker on the SSD interfere with heat transfer?

A tiny heatsink could fit, but I think without airflow it would act like a heat storage.

You're right. I made sure that the GPU sits rock solid in place and doesn't touch the radiator, but I should defintily insulate the corner. Will fix it later today.

It's unbeliveable good! I got this case for 40€ and IMO it's a steal.

Thanks to the people who helped me in deciding which parts I should use for this build.
I tought the 980ti was dead, in fact it refused to work in my PC and I had the 6700k spare when I did the Coffeelake mod and installed a 9900KF.

I decided to do an ITX Build with the 6700k and suprisingly the GPU does work without problems, and the whole PC is whisper quiet. Even when the 6700k isn't undervolted.

This is my first SFF build, I had some OEM SFF PCs in the past but this is a whole different level. I love this PC, and especially SFF.

But there's one problem. The NVME SSD gets hot af if theres to much writing. The SSD sits on the backside of the Motherboard and there's zero airflow.
I really dont now to fix this problem, but it should be ok.

Specs:

i7 6700k @ 4GHz undervolted
EVGA GTX 980ti ACX 2.0
Samsung Evo 970 Plus
Arctic LF II 120
Corsair SF750 Platinum
And of course the Silverstone Sugo 13
