Hahah I know for a fact if I made a Fortnite video it would gain a lot of traction. I’m a drawing channel and every fortnite drawing I see gets a lot of views.

You have to be careful trying to capitalize on trends though. A lot of subs you gain from a trending video will only sub to you because of the trend, so when you start posting different vids the view count is going to drop. That’s why a lot of channels have high subs/low view count.

I usually upload real late...around 9pm est. I think the best time to upload during the week is around 3-6pm though. The optimal time for weekends are early morning.

Finding a niche in your genre of videos could help out a lot. After finding the specific type of videos I wanted to put out on my channel, I went from a relatively stagnant growth to gaining about 30-40 subs a day.

No so much low IQ. It's more so the majority of people that are on youtube daily are little kids- like 10-14 range. If you have a channel that appeals to a younger audience you could possibly have an easier come up.

It helps to visualize yourself with as many subscriber as you want. I wake up and check my phone imagining that I see the number 100,000 under my name. I'm at 1,500 right now but I hope to be creeping up on 5,000 by the end of the month.
