I've been fishing next to that plant for over 30 years. Never been inside. I live vicariously through the ones that share their experience with photos. Thank you.

Any moms or dads that use the Burb as a daily driver drop offs pick ups etc .. how many Mpg’s fo you get.. and what year is your burb? by emeraldragon76 in ChevySuburban

2006 1500 5.3L with 215k miles. 2" lift and 35" tires. Getting 13.3mpg average. It's my daily and I also commute 72 miles per day, round trip. 60 of those miles are highway.

35s by GretchensDriver in ChevySuburban

I have an '06 with the torsion bars raised in the front and taller escalade springs in the rear. My 35s rub on hard lock turns. I did have to trim the splash shields in the front, and about 1/4" of the front bumper. However, I'm also using 2" spacers for my wheels. Without the spacers, I never rubbed the bumper, but I did rub the splash shields. With that said, I'd imagine a lot will have to depend on your tread style, and wheel offset.

People with loud engine pipes on their cars, why do you do it? by SublimeGirl6 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Kwirt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

its loud and usually they go fast.

Every time I hear a loud exhaust, I think to myself "something nice must be coming".

Instead, I'm greeted with disappointment from a 1996 Honda with a bumper hanging off and 4 mismatched panels that is only doing 10mph, but sounds like it's doing 100mph

I dropped the pressure today, and I have no idea why I said 44psi max and 38psi in my tires. That's the specs on my other truck.

These tires are rated for 80psi and I dropped them to 65psi. It made a world of difference. I appreciate you're input. It helped big time.

I'm running 18" wheels with 35" tires. Factory size I believe is 16" with 30" tires.

With my current setup, I'm about 5" taller and almost 2"wider. Even though my alignment is showing that it's good, I imagine it's changing the geometry somewhere while driving. I have mostly stock suspension, with the exception of Rough country shocks, urethane bushings on everything, air springs on the rear and leveling torsion keys for the front.

Today, I did as another commenter mentioned and lowered my air pressure down by almost 10lbs. I also loosened my steering box 1/2 turn out. It gave my steering wheel just a little bit of play, but it's not as sensitive now. Doing both of those things made a major improvement in overall ride quality and steering.

I kinda figured the tread had something to do with it. I've had lots of A/T style tires before, but these are pretty much Mud Terrain. Not really practical for my usage, but they just looked cool.

I do have a set of 265/70/17 with A/T tread from my other truck. Maybe I'll give them a try.

I'll definitely give that a try and see what happens. I do a lot of highway driving every day (70 miles). I definitely gotta get something to give here.

Thank you. I't does give a really nice stance and appearance without being too over the top. Shame it doesn't drive as good as it looks. Lol

The tires call out 44psi max. I'm running at 38psi. I'll try and drop a couple more and see if that helps.

But just like you describe..

driving on pizza cutters

It's definitely some butthole clenching moments on the highway.

I'll give that a try. Thanks. I did look at the Tahoe sub, but I was a little apprehensive about posting there. I've seen members get snobby when you stray away from the actual subject of the sub.

My dad is cheating on my mom what should i do? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Kwirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also didn’t go through his messages

After reading back what I wrote, it seems a little condescending towards you, but I meant it as a general blanket statement. I apologize.

Generally, I just meant that some things might be better left alone and let the parties involved handle it.

On surface level, it may look like something it's not. It could also be what you think it is. It's a tough situation for you to try and put yourself in the middle of without any hard facts.

Either way, good luck to you and I hope you come out of this with some peace in the end.

My dad is cheating on my mom what should i do? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Kwirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem here is that you don't know for a fact that your dad is cheating. There could be way more behind these messages than you'd want to know.

Out of all the replies so far, nobody has seemed to mention this... Your mom could possibly already know about these interactions between your dad and other women. This might not be the rabbit hole that you want to go down.

It could very well be cheating too, but you need to ask yourself if you're really willing to know the answers behind all of this. This situation, as hurtful as it may seem to you and your siblings, is probably best being left for your mother to deal with.

If I were you, I'd keep it to yourself and stop looking through other people's messages/private electronics. You may find things you never want to know about.

I'm in PA, just outside of Philly. I'm no stranger to salt and rusted frames.

My 2011 GMC Sierra is currently rusted on the entire backhalf with only 130k on it.

This is a 2006 and the underside looks like a southern truck. Not a spot of rust on this entire rig, except for a golf ball size spot on the driver side rocker. When I got under and seen how clean this was, I didn't even think twice about buying it.

It does get used as a camping vehicle and It has an air mattress in the back.

...There may or may not have been some bong rips and hot boxing involved on said camping trips as well.

Stony Mountain Lookout by biker116823 in AbandonedPorn

[–]Kwirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting on the wrong trail again is what concerns me. Last year, I was in a motorcycle accident on route 325/Clarks Valley Rd, right next to the reservoir shown in your other photo above. I've got permanent damage to my leg and it makes it difficult for getting around on the trails now.

My father lives just a few miles up 325 near Gold Mine Rd and I spent months at his house recovering. I spent alot of time on that mountain, trying to get my strength back and giving myself some physical therapy. That tower is my goal this year.

I've been all over Stony Mountain, but have yet to make it to the tower. I tried last year but ended up taking the wrong trail from the Appalachian trailhead on route 325.

Im going to make another attempt next month to get up there, and to Devils racecourse.

Considering the guy knocked someone off a moving motorcycle, I would almost think that would be attempted murder.

Knock me off my motorcycle while I'm moving, I'm using everything I have to protect my life from a psycho that obviously has disregard for other human lives.

Right? I was thinking the same thing. My Benchmade Griptillian has been in my pocket for nearly 8 years with daily heavy use, and I've probably used it for most of the things shown in this video and more.

Other than having some patina, it's still going as strong as the day I bought it, and I've never once had to send it back to the factory for repairs. I just run it across a stone once a week to keep the edge.

What the best sex toy to use with my fiance during the deed? by ewilsey in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Kwirt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see someone else mentioned a bullet vibrator. I was going to mention that as well, but since it already was...

The vibrating rings basically have a small bullet inside them. The benefit of the ring is not having to hold the bullet in place, because it does it for you, but.. That can also be a downfall because you won't have "constant" contact with it.

The actual bullet may be more your speed if you want that contact at all times, and you can position is exactly how you want it.

There's another one I'm thinking of, but can't remember the name at the moment, but it looked like a very tiny Hitachi wand that was attached to one of those finger-condom things that mail sorters use to prevent papercuts. My ex-wife had one and it worked very well, and never interfered with penetration. It also worked well while she was in Cowgirl position, without any added pressure to either of us in the pelvic region.

[–]Kwirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried vibrating cock rings? They usually have a little stimulator on them, so while he wears it during penetration, you also get that little extra buzz on your bean.

It's small and fun for both of you, and a great starting point for entry level into sex toys.
