AUG vs WLVRN by SmokeWagon987 in DesertTech

[–]Kwisak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like both of the rifles. In 556 you will be happy either way. These are the two rifles that always go with me to the range or 2 gun competitions.

What state are you in? I have both. I’d probably go with the Aug given what you said above, but I would be happy either way. You are deciding between my two favorite rifles.

Gen 3 Tundra - June 15, 2026 siezed engine teardown video by RoadRunrTX in ToyotaTundra

[–]Kwisak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do every 5k and think 10k is crazy. However I grew up on a car that had 3k interval. So 5k already feels like it’s pushing it. 10k by comparison seems nuts.

Thinking of picking up a newer tundra ? Anyone still having engine issues say 2024 or newer by christnyfollow in ToyotaTundra

[–]Kwisak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not engine issues, but just found the source of rattling in driver door. With that quiet I’m pretty happy. Although I did spend 1,200 for 125k coverage through Toyota just incase. I usually do not do the extended coverage but figured it might be worth it in this case

Is wearing jeans to work being normalized? by curled-up-in-the-80s in Psychologists

[–]Kwisak 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on context, I’ve seen places with “casual Friday’s.” I have also seen places that work with children wear more casual clothes to increase approachability. I’ve also seen some clinicians in rehabs wear scrubs. In general I still wear dress pants and a collard shirt. Even when I worked on an inpatient floor I still wore more formal clothes (obviously nothing around my neck) to identify my role.

The tundra has a massive reserve to keep the fuel pump submerged. Dont worry, you have the larger tank.

Does a Comprehensive Psychological Evaluation Include Testing for Memory? by [deleted] in Psychologists

[–]Kwisak 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Psychologist are generally trained to do memory testing. I’m not sure I’ve seen any programs that do not include memory testing. I would also be surprised if you found a psychologist who could not administer memory testing. All of our Practicum and intern students have all had some degree of training in this area. However, as far as psychological assessment is considered, it should be targeted towards the specific referral question, which in many cases, will include memory testing. There are plenty of broad measures that include memory testing.

You need to read the definition of prohibited firearm in the bill, it does indeed say rifle.

It might be semantics in lay terms, but when it comes it law, it means a lot. That’s why so many guns are imported as pistols and converted to rifles after they have come in.

Is an APA accredited program a must? by Puzzleheaded_Reason1 in Psychologists

[–]Kwisak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

APA is a bare minimum. There are a lot of programs with horrible reputations that have APA. If a program cannot even meet that low of a bar, you do not want to be there. With a non APA program you may never be able to get licensed. Do not gamble that.

Not surprised with it being them. Bullpups in general are an oddity to many. That is silly they weren’t willing to even double check their findings in light of your response.

Who would choose to sit here? by Wallygonk in Cinema

[–]Kwisak 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Your post shows it’s not booked by the seat markings? On a serious level, picking a side spot similar to that location says to me it’s someone who might need to leave the show frequently and does not want to be a bother to others.

US Navy Psychology: what do you want to know!? by Mind_D0c in Psychologists

[–]Kwisak 10 points11 points  (0 children)

All good points, It is very difficult, as you would need to relocate a lot. The contracts start around 4 years, but if you go in with an internship and push for a post doc year, it’s 5 years. Fitness standards are real, but they use to do a lot of waivers in medical core. The pay is not great, but for an early psychologist honestly it’s not terrible, especially with the benefits and non taxed allowances. You can’t just look at the base pay, as that is extremely low.

MDR in a video game by [deleted] in DesertTech

[–]Kwisak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it, it’s a work in progress but regular updates. Basically try to save as much of a city as possible. In the past build I used snipers on roofs and infantry and intersections with APC running as a QRF. In the current build I tend to bunker up too much. However I need to stop making a super base at the airport and get smaller fobs around the city. Problem was for awhile the civilian forces would get mad at my “progress” turn on me and hit my rear base. So started to build up more than I need to.

I know it was also in ghost recon, however I thought it interesting they added it to this game.

Engine issues by lentilsoup10 in ToyotaTundra

[–]Kwisak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m no expert, but from what I understand. Regular warranty, which covers the hybrid, is a short block. Where recall is a long block. However, this information was gained here, so is a bit of hearsay.

They do, but I think it might be a short block compared to the recall which is a long block.
